Effects - Pre vs. post filter
Hi all I just thought I'd ask a general question on effects processing. Having recently bought a set of Eventide effects processor pedals, I'm experimenting with placing them at different points in my audio chain. I have a Voyager, so have inserted them with the provided loop insert point between mi...

Re: Bank select?
When you use SysEx to re-install banks, the Voyager asks for them in a peculiar order - not a-b, c-d, e-f & g. I wonder if someone has ignored this and just fed them back in the order they appear in their backup folder.

Re: Voyager and Animoog
Insane, isn't it? Lots of fun this afternoon. I'd done this with my SP (low not priority) before, but not with the Voyager. Easy as pie through ext aud in, and simply stunning soundscapes come out - especially with Eventide processing at the end of the chain. Wow.

Re: Bank select?
G'Day Jeremy, and welcome to the Moog forum :) Melbourne - Australia, or Florida? Bank select is easy - simply press and hold the "Cursor" button, treating it like a shift key, and press up or down to go to the next bank. When you're in a bank, remember that you can spin the external mixer...

You, sir, are a steely-eyed missile man. Thanks for that!RL wrote:BTW you can reset all pot mapping settings of a whole bank in the hidden factory menu:

Re: Voyager tuning
Good thread. I think, that before I factory reset, that this might have been my one semitone flat problem too. For a reset to fix my issue means that it had to be a setting... obviously. Ah, we get to know our machines better by the day eh?

Pulse Surface Controller System released & avail
Hi all, I've just received an email from these guys and have placed my order. Don't know what everyone's going to make of it, but I thought it was cheap enough to give one a go. For those who might want to experiment with one, it's now available for order (domestic USA) and for pre-order to internat...

Re: Quality problem with new Voyager RME?
Have you tried to reset back to factory defaults? I'm not sure if the RME uses the same banks as a PE, but maybe a factory default might be a place to start anyway. You can always restore specialist banks later. I hear what you're saying, and as Voyager owner I love my machine. I'd be mortified to k...

Re: Quality problem with new Voyager RME?
Firstly, welcome to Moogdom :) Could you describe your MIDI chain? What's driving it? When sending sequencer data to it, what position is your Env. Gate switch in - k/b or ext? There should be no noise when not playing, and certainly with the volume down. I'd be looking at your audio interface first...
