I got them on mine, too. They're perfectly normal for this kind of construction, nothing to worry about!

I understand that, Kevin. However, people posting their outcomes can help others who may have the same questions about their gear.

Please Post Your Problem Resolutions

I've been away from the board for awhile due to life getting in the way. It's good to see a lot of new faces around here, as well as all the "old" faces. ;) Anyway, as I've been looking through the posts one thing I've noticed is that people will post questions or problems, then others wil...

Re: MF-101 Control Voltage question

... BTW can somebody explain to me what negative voltage is? Is is just a positive voltage with opposite polarity? No one has ever given me a clear answer. Simply put, electricity is made up of current and voltage, current being the flow of electrons in the circuit, and voltage being the force that...

Re: MP-201 Buyer's Remorse...?

Indeed, and I expect it'll become the heart of mine as well. However, for as much as this has to offer, I am stumped as to why Moog would discontinue it! Has anyone discovered what their reasoning for that was? Are they going to come up with a desktop version that can be controlled with an external ...

Re: Hey, can anyone test this new MP201 firmware?

I just loaded the last update that Amos posted, and it looks like it's working fine. As for any docs that go with it, I can't say. So far, the updates appear to be self explanatory in context with their use (for instance, the use of the tap-tempo multiplier appears in the channel setup edit menu).

MP-201 Buyer's Remorse...?

Frickin' GAS!!! After the new MP-201 arrived, I suddenly found myself suffering a bit of buyer's remorse. I mean, I just paid $400 for an expression pedal! This was my first Moog impulse buy, triggered by the realization that it was discontinued, and that I might not be able to get a new one w...

Re: Hey, can anyone test this new MP201 firmware?

Hi all! Well there's only been one error reported when doing the update and I think we figured out that it was user error / windows / not the firmware update's fault. I just wanted to check in to let you know that a lot of my time right now is taken up with the upcoming iPad release; I'm also worki...

Are there plans to port apps to other platforms?

I'm not a fan of the iPad or iTunes. Is there any chance these apps will be ported to any other tablet platforms?

Re: Voyager OS/MFB Step64 Tuning Issue

It's wired "CV 1" ("Notes") to pitch, "Gate 1" to gate, "CV 2" ("Velocity") to volume, and I have the sequencer set to Mode 5 . BTW, good call on the keyboard transposing the notes! I didn't even think about that one... Edit: Forgot to add the veloci...
