For anyone interested this was the link: premier guitar Also like the comment from charles about halfway down about 'keeping music' live' (hey it's 1980 all over again) - the post is so bad i'm not sure but it seems he's implying that a Taurus is putting a bass player out of a job(?!) He should chec...

Well it had a fake veneer sides. i think all we're saying is to have that fake bit real - not to have huge end cheeks like the TII.

Well i think all specs are in the preliminary stages so i wouldn't get depressed yet. Doesn't specifically say 'no wooden end cheeks' does it? Anyway, they already say it's going to be 1.5 octaves, which is a change to the original spec already.

Made me laugh

i was searching some of the internet announcements to see how well the news was spreading and saw this comment (on a guitar site, so that may factor into it): with as many products on the market and options including software like Reason that can essentially do everything this can do and waaaaay mor...

Gary Numan's albums The Pleasure Principle, Telekon and Dance are a Moogfest - The Pleasure Principle packed full of Minimoogs and Polymoog Keyboards and Synths, especially prest 1 Vox Humana (hey, why bother with any preset after 1?). Telekon tones down the Polymoog a bit, although listen to some w...

Well i'm guessing there'll be a few 'names' who won't be registering or posting - i mean Sting will probably buy four just for himself - likewise Andy Summers. Maybe all those proggers like Yes and Genesis who are still touring will get a few as back-ups too.

Well maybe Fernandes could 'sleep with the enemy' and produce something. i have a Dave Kushner Signature Ravelle with Sustainer pickup and it's beaut. i wouldn't normally go for a green guitar, but believe me chaps, the ladies love it. As an Ebow user too you can tell that the Moog Guitar is for me,...

In some ways - although my rubberised OSCar synth looks good, it's actually not that tough. Also, if they do get damaged there'll be no way to replace them.

Yeah wood has the advantage of being gig-worthy, and when it gets tatty, replaceable. Also these things will be quite heavy i realise, but surely that's better than having some lightweight thing moving across the stage as you stomp on it?

i've got a feeling it was particle board and fake veneer, definitely something i wouldn't want (yuck).

More questions: 1. Will the Taurus include the original's ability to switch 240/120V. This is a great feature for the touring musician (just remember to switch it back when you get home) and in my case, as i've ordered from the UK, i would rather not have to have a bulky transformer on stage. 2. Als...

i would quite like 1.5 octaves, although this goes outside of Moog's remit of recreating the original. However i only want the extra half octave if it goes in the lower direction

Another noob here. Been looking for some second hand Taurus pedals for a while now, never found any. Although this is quite expensive (i am aided by the fact that i live in the UK) i thought 'what the hell' - i love Genesis, Yes and Sunn O))), what else am i going to do? i just hope they fix the Ach...
