Question about Voyager LFO Speed.

When I had my LP, out of the box the LFO modulation rate went up to an ULTRA fast speed. I have a Voyager 3.2 and the rate only goes about half as fast. Is there something in the edit menu I need to adjust to get it to this faster rate?

Thanks in advance.

I use the Voyager just like the Model D....I never save patches. I have one initialized patch that I start with every time, so after a new sound is created, I record it and then start from scratch once again. This is something I always encourage people who are new to programming to do to help them r...

Sounds like it could be something as simple as a Moogerfooger Flanger, but I don't think there would be this much secrecy over something that simple. The problem with the audio sample is that we don't know just what part of it is being affected by the new device.

I use the UA 6176 and it sounds amazing. ANYTHING you use is going to "color" the sound, down to the slightest nudge of EQ when printing your final mix. But the 6176 retains the warmth of your analogs which is subsequently lost when just going straight to digital. It's kind of ironic to in...

My LP Story.

First off, let me start by saying that I LOVE the Moog LP. From the looks, sound, performance, ease of use, etc., it's one of if not my favorite synth ever made. BUT......it simply wasn't meant to be for me. I bought one of the first tribute models to come off the line.....serial number in the 300's...

I have both, but prefer the Voyager every time. The Model D is different in that it tends to drift out of tune and it's that slight instability that gives it that sort of antique sound that people tend to make a big deal over. The Voyager, on the other hand, is always in tune and obviously outweighs...

The limitations of analog sequencing force creativity, if in fact, you use sequencing as a major part of your recording process. I think sequencing was probably never intended to dominate entire recordings when it was first implemented, but there is a lot of subtlety to be explored by using it caref...

I honestly couldn't find much of a use for mine. I realize certain styles of music call for different applications, but it just seemed like I could grab my Voyager or something else to achieve a lot of the same results.

LP Owner Notes

I've had two LP's now, both with bugs, but I have to admit to really loving the synth. I'm currently using it almost exclusively on a new recording and find that its "limitations" are the very thing that make me explore the potential of the machine further and achieve sounds I don't usuall...
