Re: prototype

Results : 1.0026 volts per octave, which is entirely satisfactory to me. Consider yourself lucky. Back when I had my OS, it was almost .4 volts off. And my best friend's OS is also quite off the mark... I guess not every Voyager is made equal as far as pitch CV goes...? BTW, both were bought brand ...

Re: If you were going to NAMM...

Great Thread! I would be looking at any new modules by 4MS or Makenoise, and, in the digital realm, I'm also really excited to find out what new plugins are coming out from Universal Audio. They do some amazing things with their emulations of analog gear, the roland dimension D and cooper time cube ...

Just made the first step in the Eurorack format. . . Got a soundmodular flight 200! When I can, I'll be picking up the makenoise rene for my first module. Really excited about this!

Video of a recent Moog-laden performance

Hey guys, The audio had to be overdubbed, but I think this gives an idea of a recent interactive performance that I mentioned in another thread: audience participation courtesy of an etherwave that was sending control voltages, which were then processed through the XL before being sent to moogerfoog...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

hey guys, here's a track that mixes some acoustic stuff with moog sounds. Most of the percussion stuff is moog voyager XL, and the ambient sounds in the last half (2 minutes in) are all made with my voyager going through a few moogerfoogers: ringmod, clusterflux, and delay. All comments are welcome ...

Re: Guitarist needs to shape his soundwaves (MF107 and/or LF

I just heard about this the other day. It's a new program that is supposed to allow you to use a normal guitar as a midi guitar. I'm about to test it out, and I'll let you know how it goes. I completely agree with everything David Smyth said in the above post, but if this thing works better than pre...

Re: Guitarist needs to shape his soundwaves (MF107 and/or LF

all awesome suggestions. Edoardo, I started out with the EHX POG2 and the MF 105M midimurf pedal. I'm a guitarist as well, and I was just looking for somethings to really expand the sound of my electric guitar. The murf is probably not what you are looking for, but the POG2 is another good alternati...

Re: New recording: Voyager, MF 104M, & MP 201

awesome, hooshirn. Your track is really cool. love the textures your getting. A lot of my stuff is more song-based, but I really like doing this sort of thing, too. yeah the MP is really great. I found mine on craigslist and got it for $300, though I had to throw in my EP 2 as part of the deal. don'...

New recording: Voyager, MF 104M, & MP 201

Hey guys,

Here's a one-take improv I recorded the other night using my recently acquired MP 201. Just the Voyager XL into the MF 104m with the MP 201 controlling the MF. Reverb is the UAD EMT 250. Hope you guys like it!
