Re: Mother 32 and Minitaur Pitch problem

In that case you might need an attenuator or voltage source to match voltages.

Re: Mother 32 and Minitaur Pitch problem

In the mean, time, you can use MIDI to hook them up and that should work.

Re: Saving moded preset sounds

It's always scary to think you might overwrite something! The cool thing is you can get all the presets back using the software editor, so even if you do that by accident, it's fixable :)

Re: Saving moded preset sounds

Straight from the horse's mouth (in this case, the manual): TO SAVE A PRESET: 1. Press the SAVE button. 2. You will be given an opportunity to name your preset. Use the buttons to select a character, and use the FINE TUNE knob to scroll through the available characters. Now use the buttons to select...

Re: Mother v Boomstar v XS v SE-02?

Two Moms = $1300 has two voices. One SE-02 = $500 has 4 voices. I'm just sayin'.

Re: Mother v Boomstar v XS v SE-02?

The design is Studio Electronics and the manufacture is Roland. I'm going to guess it is very high quality, The Korg Minilogue is the same price and it is excellent (different beast). I don't think the price is going to indicate anything about the quality of the SE-02. YMMV.

Re: Mother v Boomstar v XS v SE-02?

If you don't like wires, then Mom is probably not for you. The new SE-02 will polychain so you can get as much polyphony as you are willing to spend for. From what I've heard on the web, it sounds like an SE-1, which is a good thing!

Re: Neat and Unique Sub 37 Sounds and Behaviors

Nice post :) 6. Filter Volume and Bass Drop: I may be wrong, but the Sub 37's filter seems to drop less bass and less volume than other Moog filter incarnations. I seem to reach for the volume knob less often than other Moog synths I've owned, and much less than the Minilogue, which cuts output in h...

I don't know where the fuses are on the Mother. I suggest you contact Moog support.
