synthpro, I LOVE your Polymoog videos. I had the older, more unstable one for a while till it caught fire :( I wonder if Moog would ever consider doing for this keyboard what they've done with the Taurus... maybe doing an instrument like this as opposed to a Memorymoog would be cheaper?? Yes, it is about 1978 or somewhere in there. I restored a 280a a couple of months ago. Mine is serial# 1641 which means it was the 641 made.

It could be a short in your switch as well. I had an amp that had the same problem.

I had the same problem. I took my LHC apart and found that the rear part of the shaft on the POT had broke off. I am still looking for a POT for mine.
