Be sure to try a Fuzz or Distortion INTO the phaser; this gives it lots of harmonics to filter - sounds amazing. One idea to try - set the rate as high as it will go. Then adjust the Sweep or Range controls with your hand or a CV pedal. Not the typical up/down of the LFO, but more like the world's t...

MC - I think he is not overdiving the amp woith the pedal - he just means that the Drive control into the pedal allows it to overload and fuzz out. (Which it will do - in a nice way!) I know the MoogerFoogers were designed to allow this - especially the Phaser, which likes a lot of harmonic informat...

I think everyon want different things - as you can read here. Unfortunately, they COULD build things like that, but they would cost too much. So they decide what is most useful and least costly. 8 panning pots would cost a LOT and take up some serious space. It's not a cheap pedal, let's hope nothin...

It would be great to have one. If it was simple, maybe with an octave-follower to add low growl... some CV control - interesting. Especially if it had some cool ways to sweep the pitch - a joystick (CV!) or pressure control that could be used for the other pedals too.

I agree - the old Taurus 1 (I had both) sounded good, but was too limited. The power of a MIDI bass pedal is too great (play various octaves, polyphonic stuff, samples, analog and digi synths, etc) and it doesn't cost much. It would be interesting, would you pay over $1500 for a modern Taurus pedal,...

>>>An analog sequencer would be nice, too, but there are other companies that make products that would work.<<< That's why it's great they made it a MIDI and CV controlled synth! You can get ALL KINDS of extra gear for it - the sequencing options are endless with MIDI gear, and tons of modules can b...

Yes - to clarify:

There was no need to move BOTH filters when "spacing" them - you only need to move one. So the knob sets the distance that the filters are apart, it does not move both filters to do that...

My favorite synth (right now) is the Voyager keyboard MIDI'd out to a bright sounding digi synth - preferably a ROM sample-playback thing. Then that audio goes back into the External Audio In on the Voyager mixer. Usually I don't use any Voyager osicllators, but you could mix them in (mono). On choi...

It would be great if ALL keyboards had that option, but they don't. I LOVE the Voyager keyboard. It's the best of a bunch of synths I have. More importantly - Why doesn't someone make a big weighted-controller with ADJUSTABLE mechanical action!? You could dial it in for depth, throw, weighting, retu...

There IS no good answer to that. Gary used both Minimoogs, Polymoogs, and ARP Odyssey, so the sounds you may be trying might be those other synths. One trick to use is that he ALWAYS had phasers, and used the synths through them. Try it (flanger might work too) and you'll see what it does to the sou...

Octave Switching - a good idea, but it will probably not work well on the Voyager. Both the highest and lowest octaves would not transpose, as the oscillators cannot go much beyond those ranges. Then, if they didn't, people would cry that the transpose "doesn't work". Besides, these are re...
