Re: Polarity of CV inputs on OS?
AFAIK the T (tip) is always + Envelopes - you don't need precise 5v, I've had some EGs trigger at anything over about 1.5v, others over 3v. It just depends on the design. I've built a few 'homemade' CV controllers over the years and never had a problem with blowing things up, as I always source from...

Re: LP a limited edition?
You really need to play one "in the flesh". Sure you can view videos on youtube, and listen to soundcloud examples. Like people say, it doesn't compare to playing a Moog through a good amp. You can read about a great meal at a restaurant - but wouldn't you rather eat the food? There is a h...

Re: Pasta inside Lil' Phatty?
I know many of us like to noodle around on a synth but this is taking it a bit far.

Re: Slim Phatty Release Date?
Mine shipped today from Sweetwater, keke. Ugh, lucky Im still waiting on Sweetwater to ship mine. Meanwhile "down under", first shipments won't arrive until mid-december at best. Yeah but you've got nice beaches, lots of sunshine and get to have BBQs at Christmas And loose women  Ha...

Re: Is it possible to initialize a patch?
You could create your preferred initialized patch, and save it to a location. From then on you can save that preset to another spot and work from there. Only disadvantage is you give up one memory location to keep the init patch around.
I realize that doesn't answer your question though. welcome.

Re: Just played a Roland Gaia at the store
On the notion of Roland aiming at bigger targets than you or me, I was surprised to find out about
this
- which while not a synth, would seem to appeal to a very limited market. I bet it's not cheap either!

slim phatty: modwheel -> filter freq
In preparation for the much waited for arrival of my SP I've been reading the manual to try to find this out: am I able to set the mod wheel to control filter cutoff in a given patch? e.g. add to or subtract a range of values? Sure you can grab the knob on the panel, but with a lot of gear around it...

Re: little phatty stage II vs minimoog v
Something that's not mentioned a lot when comparing analog to digital sound is the quality of the high frequencies. We like to think of our hardware as sounding phat, but one of the things that strikes me most often when I do play the occasional digital or software synth is the highs are no-where ne...

Re: Moog Slim Phatty
As far as i know, the new moog little phatty control voltage input is still not 1v/Oct and the gate input only accepts s-trigger. From page 20 of the manual: The KB Gate Input accepts a footswitch (a momentary, normally-closed footswitch like the Moog FS-1) or a +5 Volt Gate Signal. Looks like you ...

CV output mod as MIDI to CV
Hi, I've only just registered and have tried to search for an answer to this question, sorry if it's already been covered. I'm considering getting an LP Stage II to add to my existing modular setup. Can the CV output modification be used as a MIDI to CV converter ? In other words if I were to connec...
