Re: envelops
The other night I used my T3 for the first time in ages. Knowing now that the envelopes are digital, it gave me pause as I plugged it into my Monster Cable power strip with specially filtered outputs - should I plug it into the analog filtered plug or the digital filtered?

Another bassist/T3 player here - I don't really have much to offer except "practice practice practice" (which I haven't been doing!) - and also this older thread on footwear...

SpaceRock from brasil, http://www.melazul.com http://vimeo.com/62827283 I enjoyed that! Nice interlocking moebius strip music! By the way, I made a set that includes "Kappa Highway" that I posted the other day and "Terminous" that I believe I posted a long time ago, dripping wit...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
Finally formed a band called Stanley Lighthead , but haven't been playing my synths much lately - it's bass, guitar and drums playing jazz funk, soul jazz, not sure what to call it yet, lots of improvisation. There are spots where the T3 could work, but I've been approaching the gig trying to do mor...

Re: Tomita on Japanese MTV (translated)
Wow - thank you for that - that was awesome! I really liked the part where he talked about growing up in Japan during wartime when people weren't allowed to listen to the music of other countries, as well as his encouragement to young artists at the end. I didn't expect him to be so cute!

Re: A new respect for scratching
I always found turntablism to be very mysterious, but a friend showed me how it's done and I was pretty blown away. I like the way it fits into the history of music in the 20th century, from musique concrète to dub/remix culture to noise like Merzbow. Said friend also enabled me to finally hear some...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
I'm always up for sharing music. Here's one of the first things I recorded with my first synth, a Micromoog through MF-103 phaser: http://soundcloud.com/hieronymous-seven/philtre-927 This one's later, with Rogue instead: http://soundcloud.com/hieronymous-seven/next-to-last One more track, one more s...

My advice would be to experiment and use your ears. Sounds like you have set up your system with care, so I bet the LP through your mixer/effects will sound great!

Re: tuning taurus 3 from right to left
I've never seen an organ with its keyboards or footboard tuned in reverse... except the keyboard of the ARP2600 that could inverse its pitch CV output... Joe Zawinul of Weather Report would use it to play the melody to "Black Market" - that's how he came up with the melody: Zawi...

Re: Taurus 3 in the studio
Realize I have another track upon which I overdubbed some T3: Valley of the Filter Beast Bass is running through the 3Leaf GR-2 pictured above and Fulltone Bass Drive (can't remember which was in front, though I think it was the Bass Drive). The recording is made up of two different recordings of th...

Re: Taurus 3 in the studio
New mix of Kha-Tess part 4 - includes the last part of part 3: http://soundcloud.com/hieronymous-seven/kha-tess-part-3-8-part-4 I realized that I had the resonance set too high on the T3, so it was taking up too much space in the section after the drum break, especially with the two tracks of Microm...

Re: Why did moog pull the pin on the delay?
I like it on lead sounds, I also like my Roland RE-201 that I also picked up in Japan around 2005, totally different sounding - I like the Space Echo better when the feedback is cranked. I've just picked up a RE-20. I don't know the real thing but I must say this makes excellent ambients out of Rho...

Re: Why did moog pull the pin on the delay?
I have a Big Briar MF-104 that I picked up in Kyoto, Japan back sometime late-2002/early-2003. They had two - the run had already run out, I should have grabbed the other one - I decided to go back and grab it but it was already bought by someone via the internet. I'm glad I have my one though - I h...

Re: 2 x Moog MF-103s in Stereo --good idea?
Wait a second people - the OP has a stereo signal, and wants 2 MF-103 phasers in sync . I think my idea - using the rate, sweep & amount from one to control the other - should work, but is it really that simple? I'm concerned that the sweep might start at a different place in the slave unit, so ...
