Further more, the LFO sync is the best type in my opinion. So many VAs with digital LFOs will sync in 100% perfect timing throughout the LFO cycle with the triggering and speed both being tied to the midi clock - boring! The Voyager's LFOs are analogue so luckily(!) this is not possible. The solutio...

Hi Simon "I am now the proud owner of Voyager AE #657 and was very suprised to see that it had been signed by Bob Moog in silver pen! Was this signing done for the last few in the batch, if so how many? How many AEs were produced in total?" I also got my AE from Turnkey and yes, mine is al...

Hi Mal "Aged 37 and owned 5 minimoogs and one Voyager in his life, remembers going into Soho Soundhouse when he was 11 and playing his first Model D (on top of a CS80)." Cool dude.. Im 35 and remember Soho Soundhouse with nostalgia. When I was 17 (1987) I used to go there when I could and ...

"From what I understand, the Model D was designed with Dr. Moog's components while he was away on buisness."

Wow, that would be interesting. Looking forward to someone confirming or correcting this..

Voyager well received at SynthDIY

..well, kind of! Took my AE to SynthDIY in Cambridge, UK this weekend. Its funny but it got a totally mixed reception. It was almost like anyone over 35ish could/would not accept it had anything to do with the Minimoog, let alone Moog. Everyone else was very impressed. Being a SynthDIY meeting you h...

Hi - I use the Motu XT Express. Its an old Parallel port 8x8. Complete pig to configure inside a PC but once up it is everything you want and very tight.. I particularly like the fact that it has a additional 'Sync' port that can be used to mirror a clock signal to all 8 outs. Some programs like Abl...

"So you could start with an Evolver (under $500 US) and when fundage permits add the PolyE." This is what I am currently doing. I have a Evolver being brought back from the US in about 4 weeks. Costing me $350 (£200) including shipping. They used cost in the UK is between £300 and £350. I ...

Hi - SynthDIY started off as a very small DIY meeting. 2 or so years ago the meeting merged with a annual Music Bar (a general music discussion forum) meeting. You normally get a cool collection of modulars and quirky things that people have made. Its only a small event. Last year there was about 30...

Thanks for the replies on this. I got a replacement yesterday from Turnkey and all is now well. Was planning on going on Thursday but decided against it!

Have not actually tried all the functions yet but the smoothed S&H and noise both now work.

Thanks again,

Maybe contact Moog support - I know its not supplied by Moog but this service does represent them. I would be very surprised if they did not jump on this and get a very quick resolution.

Good luck dude.. Let us know when things are sorted..
