Re: Just got a Minimoog Voyager!
Great video again. Nice to start with one oscillator and double it up with a second slight detuned oscillator the second time of the theme. It’s my taste, I love playing the Voyager just through a long verb and get lost. Thanks for sharing!

Voyager, VX-351 and Model D Reissue
Bought a VX-351 CV Expander to my Voyager yesterday and connected my Model D Reissue (and eventually to some other of my analog synths). Discovered I need to have the patch cable in the Model D Reissue “halfway” to get correct signal for the pitch. I suspect I’ll need TRS cable instead for some CV i...

Re: Goosneck replacement bulb
I have a non-Moog lamp: Stairville LEDBNC Gooseneck Lamp, bought at Thomann (in Europe). Works fine.

Re: Model D Reissue Oscillator Mod Switch Changes Pitch
Thanks, just what I needed. The only thing I’m concerned about is the glue moment - can hot glue ruin the board?

Re: Model D Reissue Oscillator Mod Switch Changes Pitch
No, I have not installed it yet, it has been laying here on a shelf for some months waiting. I probably can install it myself as it is “technical easy done” but as a technical novis I’m a little bit scared to open up the Moog and dig in (I recently opened up my Oberheim Xpander and replaced 5 chip t...

Re: Model D Reissue Oscillator Mod Switch Changes Pitch
First of all: congratulations to a one of the greatest synths ever made! When I asked the same question to Moog as I had the same issue they replied it’s in the original construction and they chose to keep it as the original. So it’s nothing wrong, just as the original. It can not be calibrated to d...

Re: Model D reissue pitch CV input calibration?
Are you sure the source of the problem is the input of the Minimoog and not the device that send the CV signal or a faulty cable?

Share a picture of your Minimoog in its habitat
Share a picture of your Minimoog in its habitat! There is probably some older similar thread of posting your Minimoog picture, but “the Minimoog family” growth continually. Here is my Model D Reissue and Voyager in my hybrid analog/computer based studio:

Re: Custom wood on Minimoog Model D?
Have seen all kind of cabinets to the Minimoog (unfortunately not to Model D ReIssue), but never a transparent one (like George Duke’s old Clavinet in plexiglass case). Beside that I agree, the color of the woodwork of the new Model D is not not my favorite cabinet color (I like darker color) but it...

No, I can’t recall anything. And with a Voyager or Model D it’s a heavenly match.

Great improvement/companion to the Minimoog
What are your best improvements/companions to your Minimoog (Voyager, Model D...)? These are my personal favorites I use: First of all DELAY. The Roland RE-201 is a great companion, especially to the Voyager as it gives a bit analog detune that gives life. My favorite outboard to the Minimoog is Lex...
