Re: Help a guitar player make up his mind?
I would get the Sub 37. It should fit your needs quite nicely. I have both and I can say that the Sub 37 is a huge step up in terms of functionality over the Sub Phatty. I keep the Sub P for use as extra oscillators but it's no where near as nice to use as the Sub 37. It's no fun menu diving on the ...

Re: Moog (or other) music apps supporting iPhone 6s 3D Touch
I haven't heard of much of anything yet using 3D Touch. It would be a great feature for Animoog and other apps using the screen as a controller. There is Magic Piano which uses it for volume. http://www.smule.com/apps#magic-piano There is Bismark BS-16i keyboard which uses it for Aftertouch. http://...

Re: Sub 37 - not sounding well...
Just listening to the first one doesn't sound good. It's doing what it's supposed to do as far as modulation but the sound is very "buzzy" or "tinny" for lack of a better word. It's as if it was being played through very cheap damaged speakers.

Re: Need two more oscillators.
You may want to consider a Sub Phatty. It's only a 2 octave keyboard so it doesn't take up that much space. Less expensive than 2 Mother's.
I have both Sub 37 and Sub P and they work well and sound well together.

Re: Anyone else have this issue with their Sub37?
I have a similar issue and although the Sub 37 doesn't completely lock up it's pretty close to it. I started a thread some time back but never did get a resolution. Here is my original post. Sub 37 was working fine ... then I started Sonar X3. The Sub 37 would not respond normally. I could play one ...

Re: Sub 37 aftertouch
Does it by default but there is a global setting to control what is sent ... OUT PORTS (MIDI MENU 2.2) ... choices are OFF, DIN, USB, or BOTH (default)

Re: Sub 37 aftertouch
The Sub 37 does transmit channel after touch so should be no problem.

Re: Complimentary Euro Rack Modules for M32(s)
Im beginning to wonder about the place for the Mother in a full blown modular system. There have been many suggestioned add on modules to address the limitations so why not get dedicated modules in the first place. The OSC and EG seems a bit limiting but there some oter limitations as well. And put...

Re: There can be only one.
It depends what you are really trying to accomplish. The Sub 37 is an all-in-one synth with some great features. A single Mother is just a SINGLE module. Yes, it can do a lot but by itself but to me it is still a module that needs to be part of a system with other modules to be really useful. It cou...

Re: Synths only, No computer
I am still at a loss regarding the midi control and would appreciate any pointers towards the sort of equipment that would do the job plus allow for future expansion. I use a Motu Midi Express XT for my midi connections. It has 8 input and 8 output ports. It allows you to route any synth to any oth...

Re: Synths only, No computer
You may also need MIDI manager hardware at some point if you rely on that for multiple synths.
And for updates to firmware you will still need a PC.
