Re: Static Sounding noise when using minitaur with DAW

i think there was thread here about some USB connectors making a buzz but I haven't experienced it
maybe try a search?

For me so far Minitaur problems have been solved with a power off and reboot
or worst case scenario FW erase & update

Re: Any love for the Minitaur?

as far as I can tell, since there is a bit of a learning curve with every instrument~ the only problems I have had with the Minitaur itself have been my own self-induced minor "user error" problems~ however, I'm eagerly testing every beta release and definitely there can often be _software...

Re: Show us your mounted golden knob!

interesting the photo of the foogers with two knobs ~ I got just the one so far (even though I'm in Canada) after having bought and registered my EB & White XL about two years apart. Still haven't mounted it on either though because I think both Voyagers already look fantastic

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Thanks Amos ~ I guess most people only post when things DON'T work but want to confirm everything is running well for me with this fixed Minitaur_firmware_v2_0_28.syx about the analog Filter CV is that the same as selecting "Cutoff" via a mapped input or is there something else going on th...

Cool!
Thanks Amos!
Is there a good reason for leaving the CV Filter IN static as opposed to mapping it like GATE, VOLUME, PITCH?

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

I downgraded back to 2.0.26 after 2.0.27 because of a weird 'time lag' i.e. every preset and setting had a super slow attack like playing a pipe organ, or being out of sync on a primitive DAW... i forgot the word for that...
strangely, on my machine tuning is fine and 2.0.26 is running quite smoothly!

Re: Did Moog drop the ball with the Minitaur?

Drop the ball? I'm still using and loving my Minitaur more often than any other bass including my much more expensive Taurus 3 ~ even without presets it's a simple matter to turn a few knobs and get a great sound out of it. Add unparalleled support, constant R&D Development with FREE frequent Fi...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

I think Rob made a good point if we can't remember it we won't use it. my 2¢ ` The idea of saving to another location just in hardware without the Visual help of an Editor seems like a real stretch to me because there's no way of _really_ knowing what preset you are saving over, except clicking and ...

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

Excellent thanks Amos ~ will load this directly! Eager to try out that 'top octave' solution :D I agree with you about the buttons ~ perhaps another thing to consider for folks following this discussion is that many of us rarely use the Minitaur's front panel alone ~ unless a sequencer is driving it...
