Re: MiniMoog Help - OSC 1

I might guess either a partially failed solder connection relating to Osc 1 or oxidized contacts in one of more of the multi connectors that connect the different PCBs and keyboard etc together?

Re: Electronic components

BTW, resistors have an additional color code, aside from their value, on them that identifies their tolerance: silver band 10%, gold band 5%, red band 2%, and brown band 1%. Most common are 5% and 1%. O M G . . .I'm not sure what I was thinking but apparently I wasn't thinking very well at ...

Re: Electronic components

Hi gaeM, I can't remember if I saw the email or not. If i didn't respond I might not of seen it as I had a couple computer problems about that time and my email is still messed up. Anyways, I don't know what brand of resistors Moog used back then . . .and they may have used several different brands ...

Re: I Dream of Wires....

And there were some modular hold-overs that sort of kept things alive through the 1980's and 1990's but without a strong internet like we have these days and most of the companies being too small to afford much magazine advertising they weren't on many people's radar. Companies like PAiA, Aries, Don...

Re: Electronic components

Hi my friend! 8) First I would suggest seeing if just exploring different patching and settings can get you to the sound you seek? Maybe if you can get as close to the sound you want as you can, post a video and description of the patch and also an example of who ever you are trying to emulate (like...

Re: 960 SEQUENCER SYNC?

Take a look at the Moon Modular 553 MIDI to Clock module. http://www.lunar-experience.com/DOWN/553.pdf I'm not sure what you are asking in the second part of your question. Are you asking if the Moog 960 is compatible with a Synthesizers.com system or ??? Moog modules typically need a different powe...

Re: I Dream of Wires....

I also want to add that it is my opinion that the introduction of the Moog Voyager was the catalyst to the Analog Renaissance we currently find ourselves in. That was the first "legacy" product and I'm not sure if there was anything like it at the time it was released. Hard to say but I t...

New Sub Phatty video

Most of you here probably have a Sub Phatty or are very familiar with them so this may not be anything you haven't heard or seen before! I do use a Strymon BigSky reverb pedal a lot in it and some of my 5U modular though, in case that interests you? This video is hosted on MATRIXSYNT...

Re: Question on modular forum content

I also noticed that after I posted the "Individual Modules" thread in the forum, Moog added "System 15 55 and 35" to the description so there may be a possibility that they really only mean they want this to be the place where people go with pictures/questions for their new syst...
