Re: popping from lfo
Is it a matter of attenuation? It really isn't about attenuation (or peaks either); it's far more about the rapid voltage change over time. Sure, as you attenuate the LFO's amplitude closer and closer to near zero, it won't bug you as much, but it won't have very much of an effect either. ("We...

Re: MF-105M Midi MuRF as an EQ/Drive Pedal
I have most of the big moogerfoogers but somehow the drive on the murf sounds the best and most effective to me, anyone else feels the same? I complete agree! I use it even in small doses on almsot everything. It's such a unique and distinctive tone that is completely malleable. I own a Bass Murf a...

Re: Moog Guitar E1-M for sale!
Y'alls best bet is to look on Reverb.com and eBay.com. I see a few. I only see one MIDI equipped guitar available right now, but you can buy the normal E1 and send it to the factory for a MIDI upgrade . . . or at least you could before they discontinued them. Paul Vo again could probably do the upgr...

Re: Strange problem with my Moog Guitar, appreciate any help
Yes, but it would still be hard to diagnose the problem and im still looking for solutions. Maybe I can find somebody from Moog to contact on email or something, or be contacted if they happen to read the forums. Don't count on it. They may or may not still be doing support. Not saying they are aba...

Re: Cluster Flux Effects Loop
The Effects Loop of the Cluster Flux yields some simply amazing versatility. It works beautifully with phasers, filters and sequencers like the MURF. Try it. Go get yourself a cheap Hosa Insert 1/4" TRS to 2 1/4" TS and start plugging things in. I used the Moog phaser in the effect loop on...

Re: MF-106M SuperMoogerFooger
I read somewhere (or heard in an interview) that they were designing the 106 and 107 at the same time and decided to combine the two into one effect.
I think 106 was going to be a harmonizer/tracker w/ variable LFO, and the 107 part was the FM circuit.
Not sure tho.

Re: Custom Build: Looking for pictures of Wilkinson install
Call Moog or email and get in touch with Steve Maass.
He has info on the install and can provide pics and possibly get you in touch with an experience luthier.
Another possibility is to contact Wes Lambe. He might be glad to help. http://www.wlguitars.com

Re: I may have screwed up....bought Moog 104z
Considering the best price you can probably find on a Moog MF-104M is about $700 if you are lucky, you did fine. The 104Z is generally brighter in tone than the 104M. If you ever have issues with the delay shorting out fear not, there has been extensive discussion on this and it's not a dealbreaker ...

Re: New Panasonic BBD Chip Clone - Moog Please Make a Delay
The reviews of the new chip are starting to roll in. Unless the desire is to create a delay with a really long echo, it may be a good idea to stick w/ the MN3008s. I ended up purchasing another MF-104MSD in the Fall, and I just don't think the sounds can be beat at all. It's sooooo smooth, clear and...

Re: Moog E1 Problems
Damn dude! You need to contact Steve at Moog. Just because the guy at GC tells you the power supply is correct does not mean he is right. I don't presently own a Moog Guitar, but I did for many years. I know it doesn't run off such a power supply and you may have potentially fried it. It does have r...

More to come
I've been reaching deeper on this topic. This is only the first version of this track: https://soundcloud.com/crowyote/rippling-reflections-across-the-rainbow-coloured-mind I used a MIDI MURF and Bass MURF to create the rhythmic textures. There was a little help from the Koma Elektronic RH-301 and C...

EHX already using the chip in the Deluxe Memory Man 1100
It looks like EHX released a batch of their Deluxe Memory Man 1100 w/ Tap Tempo w/ Howard Davis' new Xvive Panasonic MN 3005 BBD chip clone. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MemoryMan1100 The cheaper cost of the chip and greater availability has cut the cost to the buyer of this pedal in half....
