Re: Running Two MF-104m's Together

I have two 104m delays. I usually use then in stereo but running one into the other sounds pretty amazing too, particularly when they are mimicking chorus sounds

Re: "Ah" Sounds

I can get every other vowel sound with the Voyager on its own but I need to use my filter bank for "ahh" sounds

Re: Modulation Busses section question

Ok I did your test as above and got the same results I think everything is working fine here. The filter curve is more noticeable in the high/low setting when you have the cutoff set where it is (180) but if you dial it back to sound 80 you should notice a difference in the dual low as well. The cut...

Re: Modulation Busses section question

Hi, just did that test over and over and it's quite the same to my ears...I can recall a "pico-difference" but ? I wonder if it is just normal... it's analog, all those interconnexions and still quite the same sound...I am assuming that nothing was plugged in the ON/MOD 2 jack... EDIT: ye...

Re: Modulation Busses section question

I tested this too, and I got very different results from the Pedal buss and filter envelope. Which actually was kinda cool, specially when used together. The pedal buss opens the filter about half of what the envelope does

Re: Modulation Busses section question

It might be that either the filter envelope section puts out a higher voltage than the Pedal buss or that one gives an exponential response and the other gives a linear. That's just a guess though

Re: Modulation Busses section question

I honestly didn't get a full grasp until about 3 months ago. I've had my Voyager almost 2 years. It just sort of clicked one day and everything be came so much easier to understand. So to REALLY simplify things, the source is what will be modulating the destination. The shaping modulates the amount....

Re: Why does this Modular sound so incredible ?

Probably because they used a better quality of wood in the cases to help increase the sustain and improve the resonance

Re: Voyager/Old School: your best of all time?

I've played a minimoog (unfortunately don't own one) and I have to say it is much more complex than how it looks on paper. But not nearly as complex as the Voyager. 8)
