Re: Best midi pickup !

How do you ''add'' 5V to a jack? When thinking in a modular manner, something like what I do works well. I have some Moog CP-251's, which are useful for a bunch of voltage processing techniques. The mixer section has a voltage offset knob which, when turned all the way clockwise, offsets the output...

Re: Best midi pickup !

You can open the minitaur gate by sending +5V to the tip of a jack plugged into the gate. Luckily the ring of the the other CV jacks sends out +5V. Plug one end of a TS cable all the way into the gate and halfway into pitch, vol, or filter cutoff. Genius! Though should we worry about patching an in...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!

Some new stuff since my last post, but mostly showing off my newly repainted room and wall mounted keyboard rack. These are before wiring so it's a little messier now. I still need to hang stuff on walls and I have tracking lighting on order. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7346/12331410973_d1cb23cd6...

Re: Are LP and SP presets interchangable?

The exception being that the Tribute requires different code; the feature set lines up [generally] but the hardware differs slightly. I have a Tribute Edition. The question is, if I create a preset bank on LP TE OS 3.1 and send it as "All Presets" Sysex, will the Stage I and II and Slim P...

Re: A fully analog sequencer from Moog - that's what I want.

I've been waiting for a month now to take delivery of my Voyager. Bought from Guitar Center (told me it would be a four to six day wait) and then they emailed me that it was on back order. So, over the last month, I have been researching which sequencer I want to get. I have narrowed it down to the...

Re: Sub37 Poly chain to my Sub Phatty PLEASE

Yes, in the future you WILL be able to polychain Sub 37 and Sub Phatty. Details coming soon. -Your Friends at Moog Wow, great work Moog! :D I have a (similar but different) Little/Slim Phatty poly-chain, and I can say that both the flexibility and sound of these modern 'Polymoogs' are massive! At l...

Re: SP Osc. 2 Freq. slightly out compared to my other SP & L

Perhaps the local contracted Moog tech. who looked at mine a couple of years ago did the trimpot calibration adjustment instead of the users calibrations in the menu? Otherwise I can't see how the user calibrations worked for him and not me at home. Either way, he fixed it somehow and I haven't had ...

Re: Are LP and SP presets interchangable?

I also do it all the time with my poly-chain (Little Phatty St. II -> Slim Phatty -> Slim Phatty). I do most of the preset writing on the LP (the primary unit, at the start of the chain), and you can send preset(s) (current or all slots) via the LP's "SYSEX" Menu page, to the following Sli...

So I may or may not have just snapped up a Voyager XL that popped up locally..

Add that to my Phatty poly-chain and other Moog goodies and I don't think I'll be leaving the house!!

Check out the new Minifooger MF Boost Pedal. It has Expression (CV) control over gain. You'll need some other Envelope Generators though..
