Re: Minimoog Master Tune knob

Ok I just checked my reissue, I have to set mine about -1.2 to tune it to the 440 reference. It's been on for a couple hours too so it should be stable. This is a bit concerning. I've had it for a few months now but haven't really messed with tuning it up. Just been banging away most the time since ...

Yeah I really like the pulsating droniness (is that a word?) of this.

Re: Gaze into my Minimoog Power Supply crystal ball...

The only way to get the same life out of your mini and its PS as the original Mini is to reach down and behind your keyboard stand without spilling your beer or doing your back in, and switch it off at the wall socket every time you use it...thus turning off the power supply along with the synth. L...

Re: Moogerfoogers timeline

That's a good question. I have at least one of each but don't really know the pedigree of each model. Being pretty new to the Synth world (a little over a year) I'm still pretty naïve to a lot of Synth's and their history.

Re: Custom wood on Minimoog Model D?

I'm not at home and don't have a really good photo of mine but mine is really nice. I've never seen an original Model D but from the pictures I've seen it appears that the finish tended to be a little darker than what mine is. Mine isn't real light by no means and yes although it isn't furniture it ...

Usefullness of Kenton Pro Solo MKII

I've recently came across a Kenton Pro Solo MKII at a pretty decent price. I just don't know a ton about using one but have seen it referenced through out these and other forums. I know it works pretty well with older gear that doesn't have midi but most of my gear is all fairly new. With that said ...

Re: Model D Reissue Quirk (is this normal?)

Sweet water was able to get in touch with Moog and they have determined that I received a defective model. Sweetwater is going to exchange it with free return shipping and honor the demo model price tag on my replacement. Well that's good news, relatively speaking. I actually purchased my Reissue t...

Re: New reissue Model D Faulty?

From listening to the audio I've experienced the same thing. Originally I thought I had an issue too. I even spoke to a tech at Moog (while calling about something else) and he told me to shoot him an audio file. What I deduced is that it's pretty much the Oscillators being slightly out of phase wit...

Re: Converting a 10V gate to a 5V gate

Does anyone know of a device I can use to convert a Korg SQ-1 10V output gate to a 5V input gate on the Voyager? What? KORG SQ-1 V/Oct supported for 5V! Just hold FUNCTION button on SQ-1 and press 5V buttons on A section and B section (they will light red) to select 5V CV range for each. You don't ...

I don't think it will blow anything up. As far as the light I think it's actually LED now instead of the original incandescent.

Re: Werkstatt as 2nd oscillator for M32?

The one thing that came to mind is did you do the little calibration routine with the Werkstatt while mounting the expander? I actually haven't done it myself yet but haven't had
a chance to mess with mine for awhile. Just a thought.

Re: No sound after 1.1 firmware update

Solved with 1.2 update. That's good. I haven't updated mine at all, been a bit gun shy with a bunch of issues peoples had while trying to update or afterwards. So I haven't even looked at the Librarian yet. I know not everyone has issues but with my luck I would be one of the select few that does. ...

Re: Mogue!!

I'm getting better at pronouncing it Mowg but still once in awhile say Mooooog. Especially since back in the day I used to work on cars which another company called Moog makes suspension parts for automobiles so I was familiar with calling it Mooooog back then. It's kind of the same thing with Vietn...
