Re: Trouble with CV!
Hi Simon - The CV input on the MF-101 is less than full range with a 0 to +5V input. So this is normal. When we introduced the moogerfooger MF-101, we figured a large number of users would be guitar players, and they would want to use expression pedals for filter sweeps, sort of like a wah. The rang...

Re: How to store volume types ?
Hi All -
You can adjust and save the Volume Sustain Parameter. This would work as it sets a maximum level for the Output VCA.
Hope this helps...

Hi -
Square waves are generally used for most timing applications, because they have sharp rising and falling edges. I'd try that first...
Good Luck!

Re: MP 201 LFO sync to Tap Tempo of MF 105B issues
Hi Han - How's Chewbacca? Say - it was a feature of the original murfs that the Tap/Step function had two purposes. The tip connection of this jack is the tap tempo input, while the ring connection of this jack is the Step input. Gate signals received on the Ring stop the internal clock and each gat...

Re: FreqBox calibration/tuning
Hi All - Needless to say, I don't recommend popping open your freqbox to mess with the calibration unless you know what you're doing. However, if you are attempting this, set the panel frequency control to 12:00 when tuning the V/Octave scale trimpot. Also make sure env. amount is at zero. The panel...

Re: Getting Little Phatty filter overdrive sound with Voyage
Hi All - There are two components to the special sauce known as the LP "overload" (note - named after the overload light on the original minimoog mixer). The first is positive feedback in the mixer before the filter. This is related to but a little different than the old output to audio in...

Re: E Drone w/ Microtones
Hi Elflord - Yes - I enjoyed figuring out how to make that patch. The key is in using the pot mapping function to map the keyboard pitch negatively @ 25% or 50% to the Osc.2 Octave. (I forget the exact amount and don't have a voyager w/ that patch on it handy right this moment) Thus when you play up...

Re: Minimoog OS and MCV4 CV/GATE Midi ! solved problem
Hi - There are a couple shortcomings in that review - look what feature the Kenton 2000 pro solo has to deal with tuning: (From the Kenton manual) "CV x Scale ( -127 to +127 default 0) - This is used to tune in the octave scaling of your analogue synth. Will only need adjusting if your synth so...

Re: Afterpressure question???
Hi - To control the Pedal/On Modulation Bus, the best way to do this is per preset - use the POT MAPPING function to assign Afterpressure to control MOD1 (MOD1 is the controller signal for the Pedal/On Mod Buss). If you have the editor - I think this is can be done quickly to a large number of prese...

Re: Voyager RME Pitch Bend Issue
Hey - Glad you got it fixed! It sounds to me as though you had a RME that had the Keyboard version firmware loaded by mistake! The keyboard version scans the pitchbend input, and if the pitchbend signal is not there, as in the RME, it outputs the lowest value. So if anybody else sees this kind of be...

Re: Pitch Envelope on a Voyager
Hey Ve Man- There are a couple other ways to get this sound. I was asked how to create this sound when the Voyager was first released, and back then, you had to ride the Glide On/Off switch - kind of difficult to do w/ the Hoedown riff. Now, you have two choices - both require using some of the adva...

Re: midify theremin Etherwave Plus or Ash in midi
Hi -
If you use Max/MSP - you can use MSP to generate MIDI directly from the Audio signal. There are both amplitude and frequency measurement tools available in MSP... I wouldn't be surprised if someone in their user community hadn't already made a patch that does this.
