Re: Subsequent 25 issues
Are you using the usb connection for the editor and your midi data? (DAW) If so, that can easily create a midi loop.

Re: Question about display (protective plastic)
I still have the protective plastic on my Prophet Rev 2. (2017) I wasn't sure about it when I got it but it has survived my process extremely well and now I just can't bring myself to remove it. My Sub 37's protective film was taken off immediately as there was no question about keeping it. Your pic...

Re: Saveable PWM Bass Sounds on Slim Phatty?
Hey Amos, nearly a decade later, thanks for the genius blinking MOD amount mode :) Just got a used white SP which i just find awesome. Wow, a "decade later" and this synth is still going strong...Congrats on getting the SP! Mine was a used purchase as well and I got it for an amazing pric...

Re: Need help with a certain sound.
Here ya go, I used the Sub 37 and UA's version of the Roland CE-1 chorus plugin. Love that plugin. Not sure how you will set up the side chain in a live situation but it's crucial to the sound. I used Cubendo's built in channel compressor for the side chain action which was keyed from the kick drum....

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
A few "one synth" songs that never got released for 1 reason or another. I usually put a new synth through this just to start a relationship with the tangibles. "Our Minitaur" (All Minitaur including the drums which were 1 shots sampled into Steinberg's GrooveAgent. Also used Ste...

Re: Need help with a certain sound.
The tempo is 125 bpm not 124. In the intro it sounds like they used sidechain compression keyed from the kick drum to create the "wave" or "pulse" as you put it. This ducks (lowers the volume) of the synth every time the kick drum hits. The compression release time can be tailore...

Re: How to create Snarky Puppy Presets?
Hmmm...I definitely don't have a click here in the attack. Perhaps an artifact from loading a Sub 37 patch into the Subsequent? Try turning the sequencer off since this tweaked version of the patch is no longer using the sequencer at all now. Also try increasing the amp envelope attack just a bit. S...

Re: How to create Snarky Puppy Presets?
Yea, the modulation/vibrato in that patch is controlled via aftertouch as is. Here's a slight tweak with the modulation via the modwheel.

Re: How to create Snarky Puppy Presets?
Here's a couple of presets for the Sub 37 that get really close without any modifications. They should sound nearly identical on the Subsequent... HipHop Trumpet: This one is very close to the sound in your last link (4:07) It's included in our free patches for the Sub 37. This is a bright saw-trian...

Re: Sub 37 does not receive CC19?
As far as I know CC19 is what I should use. My controller sends 0~127. I can successfully use all other CCs and they do as expected, and I've confirmed that the CC19 is sent to the Sub37. But it doesn't do nothing. Altering the Cutoff with the filter CV works fine though. I tried sending CC19 while...

Re: Patches getting overwritten - Subsequent
Howdy!
Are you using the editor? Do you have it connected to a computer? Without more info on how you are using it this becomes guess work.
I've never seen this problem on my Sub 37.
Good luck.
