Turn the knob fully back and forth for about half a minute. That really should take care of your problem. If it doesnt, you can get some electrical contact cleaner (not the eye stuff) at Radio Shack or somewhere like that. A ccouple sprays on the shaft and then turning it back and forth a couple doz...

you're the one with the prototype, what can you tell us ? how'd you get it? industrial espionage? international intrigue? interstellar overdose? whats the story, man?

You could just have 2 slew limiters instead of the basic envelopes -- feed a gate into one and it'll function just like an AR envelope

I'm not sure the difference is in using an IC, but in using one with much more headroom than the old discrete circuit had.
