It's strange that moog vsts aren't more common or diverse. Obviously a Rogue and a Mini are two very different sounds, and they are both very desirable. Not to mention things like the Poly Moog. I guess everyone is afraid of doing a bad job.

I know Joy Electric. He's pretty good, but I've never really placed him as a Moog musician. I knew about his setup change, but I never processed it. Good call.

Moog VSTs

I've recently got very into VSTs. However, the only Moog VSTs I ever find are of the MiniMoog and The Modular. Are there any others? Are they free? What are some of your favourite VSTs, Moog or not.

I once saw the guitarist from the Darling Hearts bring his to show, but he only used it once or twice and it sounded really out of tune. His looked pretty beat up. I've seen the Darling Hearts about 3 times and I've seen that guitarist in other bands. That is the only time I've seen his moog. -Tyler...

The source is so pretty. It's something you can only get in person. I saw the Zom Zoms last night, and they had one (as well as a Rogue, SH-101, and SH-2) and it was beautiful. You should check them...

The Motion City soundtrack guitar sound is mostly distorted or clean. Unless you are new to guitar, I don't think that requires much explaining. Just find a distortion pedal that suits you. I use as many as four different distortions for a single set. Most of the interesting textures in MCS come fro...

Don't get too trigger happy. This would be pretty lame spam, since it doesn't plug for anything and poses a legit question.

To Yingying, I have never heard such a song. Where did you hear it.

I like Casios, but in a different way than other synths. They are easy to get, fun to play, and darn cute. Some of thier stuff isn't half bad.

Well it's sort of like Gibson import guitars branded Epiphone. OK for novice musicians, no serious guitar player would be seen with one. John Lennon's main guitar was an Epiphone Casino. Paul and George had one too. The Epiphone Elite series has some very nice guitars. I love old japanese guitars. ...
