Re: sample and hold

Now that it's not -40 degrees,it is sounding great.
I know once the thing is paid off,[two more payments,] it will sound even better!

Re: Minitaur vs. Slim Phatty

I certainly am not a fan boy. There are things about my synth that I don't like, but I for the most part do like it.
And I'm still waiting for my sticker dammit!-see,there you go,look at my insolence directed at Moog.I'm loyal to no one, except my girlfriend and breaking bad.

Re: Minitaur vs. Slim Phatty

I'm happy there won't be a pathetic screen with presets,it also keeps the price down.If you want that sort of feature, get a soft synth.,what the What hell is a "fanboy"?

Re: sample and hold

Sorry AL,I just read your question:When I said "sluggish",I meant that the s&h tones were slower and less animated [ I use the latter adjective with trepidation],but I didn't want to say "b*uncy" again!!

Re: A little humor...

The first synthy stuff I heard from the Sabs was from the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath lp,I seem to recall it was none other than Rick Wakeman tickling the Pratt & reeds, ahem.

Re: sample and hold

Thanks Al,that is odd that the s&h in my LP sounds different than it did when I saved the preset, given that it's digital.Kind of sluggish,oh well ,sh*t happens with lots o' circuits!Oh yeah, that a/d converter,is that where the "noise" is generated also for the LP? I've also heard the L...

Re: vocals through LP

The schlong & capade where I go is staffed with nice people, but they just don't know much. When I went to buy cables,[xlr female to quarter inch male mono],the guy said they didn't have any.Well they did,and it was easy to find.Oh well, they are "nice".

Re: vocals through LP

After reading Mr.Shave's upload,I understand why things are made in China, where else can you find thousands of workers living in factory dorms, working twelve hour shifts @$17.00 a day! Sounds like an Orwellian ,dystopian nightmare. Thanks for the info,it was very enlightening. Not to mention disturbing.

I think it's funny when a product claims"conceived in Germany,made in China."

sample and hold

I'm still pretty new at analogue stuff and I was wondering if temperature can effect the way this feature behaves,i.e:less tones bouncing around when it's cold , [sorry for the description,I don't know how else to describe it.]
