Re: QSC KW Series And The T-3

Negative on the bass head. Bass amps are for bass guitars (and sometimes 6-string guitars) only. The T3 is a synth. Therefore must be treated as such. You need something flat in the EQ area. Plus, having an amp built into the speaker shortens the signal travel from the amp to the speaker resulting i...

QSC KW Series And The T-3

For what it's worth and if anybody cares, the QSC KW Series powered loudspeakers (KW152 in my case) used in conjunction with the T3 absolutely rocks. I'm running two of these beauties and it sounds fantastic. If you're not familiar with QSC, by-all-means look into them. Serious product for serious p...

Using QSC KW152 Powered Loudspeaker For T3

I recently purchased a QSC KW152 powered loudspeaker for use with the T3. This 1,000 watt 15" with horn powered unit is nothing short of amazing in all catagories. Not cheap either. I've been considering getting another one for a slave. However, I'm concerned that adding another unit won't add ...

Re: Translating Taurus 3 presets to Taurus 1

My advice would be to contact moog about this. Nobody better to ask than the designer/builders.

Revisiting Amplification For LIVE - T3 Content

I would like to get a fresh updated thread on the subject of live amplification for the T3. Up until now, I have been running the T3 direct for my recordings and through monitors and sub for home studio live practice. I will soon be taking it out for small live gigs and jams. My question is with reg...

Re: Something rattling around in my T3!

I'm suprised Amos didn't chime in on this thread. I'd be interested to find out what the clip is for and why they come lose.

Re: Taurus 3 on David Letterman

Typical Letterman.
He doesn't shut up long enough to after he asks a question to let the person answer.
And speaking of shutting up, I'll just leave this alone before I start getting political.......
On another note, the Hacketts (Steve and John) are a must-see live.

Studio Slips Clam Shell Gig Bag - T3

I know a few of you have purchased the Studio Slips Clam Shell Gig Bags (double padded) and I'm considering the same. Is this essentially just a big bag or do they actually have some sort of base whereby the T3 can sit thus limiting side-to-side movement. Also, is there any kind of handle for liftin...

Re: Do T3's Need Occasional Tuning?

Tuning drifts I would assume are gradual over time. How can I tell if mine is not as it was when it left the factory? The manual on p. 46 Note: 6 states "Note Calibration is not meant for overall tuning drifts,....". I can tell if my guitar is out of tune just by strumming an open chord. N...

Do T3's Need Occasional Tuning?

I've searched this subject but have not found a suitable answer. My T3's don't leave my studio and am curious if they need "tuning" from time-to-time. I wouldn't think an electronic insturment (analog or digital) would drift like a stringed insturment. Do they? If so, is there a patch of s...

Re: MF-108 Cluster Flux Into Solid State?

Thanks. Actually I'm using this for guitar. Most of my recording is via my Mesa Stiletto Ace Combo. I'm using a Rivera Rock Crusher as my load box running directly into my audio interface. There are times I will use a Roland Cube 80XL which I can run directly out from the Recording Out jack on the C...
