Re: Lunar Minitaur= Lunitaur
Maybe you could contact Moog and they would swap out your electronics for you for a nominal service fee. You know a lunar LP would look pretty cool. A luner LP would be a pretty easy "feild modification." Simply paint the back panel white (or order a new one from moog) then paint the side...

Re: Thoughts on the official Minitaur Editor
, I watched the Sonic State review of the MT and saw an extremely more kickass version of the editor for mac's. Guess they are focusing more on that than windows :( Not at all! Both versions should be equally kickass when finished. It's just that the Mac beta is further along than the Windows versi...

Re: Lunar Minitaur= Lunitaur
Damn it. I just got my Minitaur and white is my favorite color for everything :'( At least you don't have to wait until May for a white one to ship when you can have bass right now. You just need to let your Minitaur give you a bassage, then you will feel happy. There's no problem a little moog bas...

Re: Regeneration in mini, What is it?
Based on your last post I think it might just be a envelope setting.

Re: MF-102 tremolo vs MF-108M tremolo
The easiest way to sync the mf102 to a drum machine would be to use a mp201. The cheapest way would be to output a fitting sound to an envelope follower then plug the output into the carrier. If it is a cv sequencer more options may work.

Re: SP's with Grounding Issue
One work around that I have used when I have encountered this problem is to switch the analog mode to pass-through, this makes the grounding issue a lot less problematic.

It should work, but you'll probably need to boost it.

Re: Midi MuRF in patchbay
I think your unit is functioning as though it has a expression pedal plugged in. If I plug an expression pedal in its heal position into the rate jack of my murf it slows down. To counter this I would normal the jack to a voltage divider so that it acts like an expression pedal is plugged into the j...

Re: Midi MuRF in patchbay
You could try using jacks normalled such that when nothing is plugged in they send a couple volts to the tip.

Re: Keyboard amp ?
I got one of those when I first got my little phatty then returned it the next day. It worked, but I just didn't like it. Are you planning to use the amp for studio use or public performances? If it's for studio use I recommend studio montitors with a subwoofer, I got mine (2 KRK rocket 6's with a m...

Re: MF 105M needs half a min. to start
Mine powers up almost instantly. I suggest calling or emailing moog's tech support as they are quite helpful and friendly or, if you purchased the unit new, go back to your dealer and exchange it for a different unit.

Re: CP-251 LFO clock division?
I tested the freqbox as an lfo with sync using a negative CV. The square wave lfo from my ring mod was plugged to the audio in of the freqbox. The carrier out from the ring mod is plugged into it's own audio input. The demo starts with a constant tone from the ringmod, then the amount of the lfo is ...

Re: CP-251 LFO clock division?
Ah ok, yeah I did some experimenting and didn't quite get the results I expected. I did get close using two square waves but it was impossible to keep them in sync. The counter ic will give you sync'd square waves. You could also use an oscillator with a sync function, such as a freqbox, for your se...

Re: CP-251 LFO clock division?
You could use your square wave osc as the clock for a binary counter ic to obtain multiple octave divisions. A 4 bit counter would produce 16th, 8th, 1/4, and 1/2 notes if driven by a 16th note clock.
