Re: Electric Blue touch up paint
Thanks, that helps.
I would imagine you couldn't tell the difference of a little spot of black paint on the Electric Blue.

Re: New Voyager rack owner here, ? about running pedals/effe
Can you get sound without the insert cable plugged in? Make sure at least one oscillator is turned on in the mixer, open the filter in dual lowpass mode all the way open, and do not apply any envelope modulation or modulation from the busses. Try initializing the patch (by going into the edit menu) ...

Re: New Voyager rack owner here, ? about running pedals/effe
You can trigger the gate with a midi note on message, a key press, an external gate cv, or just by flipping the ext gate switch on with no gate coming in.

Do you have gate signals coming in? Also check to see if the send cable is giving you a signal.

I have not used a Sonic Maximizer, but it looks like they are two completely different designs.

The carvin bass cabs are full size and very light weight. Good prices, too.

Re: Does Voyager Old School need Mic-Pre?
Mic pres will not add as much color as you think they will. Overdriving a tube mic pre is not the same as plugging a synth into a JCM800. If you want the subtle character and compression a tube pre can offer but in a more useful effect, I highly suggest the ZVex Super Hard-On.
