No destination in MOD section. This will be useful only when using the CV Out for the LFO. For instance, you want the LFO to be the carrier of the MF 102 ring modulator or just to patch the LFO to the VOL CV input to modulate amplitude. This way the LFO won't modulate anything else. "None"...

MP-201 & Theremin Controlling H.O.G. - Video

Hi Gang, Thanks to "HB3" and "Don'tBelievetheHype" for posting about using control voltages with their Electro-Harmonix H.O.G. It gave me the confidence to try it using the MP-201 and Etherwave Plus: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoOdP0CaP5A As the demo was made specifically for...

The "Frankenstein" Effect with MF-101 - Video

Hi Gang, If you've ever wanted to make that descending, sweeping sound near the end of Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein", then check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8K8YnPqfxyk It was made with my MF-101 modulated by the Carrier Out of my MF-102. But you could use whatever modul...

Re: MIDI Your Theremin for Under $100! Video

C'mon, Dan. You work at Sweetwater. You couldn't have pulled a Little Phatty out of the back room? Hi Voltor, I was originally going to use a Phatty. It had more to do with the fact that the G2M only plays one note at a time. Thus, I could only hold one note for the arpeggiator which, on a P...

MIDI Your Theremin for Under $100! Video

Hi Gang, This was the most fun video I've made so far. I used a Sonuus G2M Guitar-To-MIDI Convertor to track the pitch of an Etherwave. I fed the MIDI Out to a Roland SH-201 (don't hate, it was the only synth I had lying around at that moment that had tons of arpeggiation patterns). I only had a few...

This is perfectly relevant to Moog! What microphone are you using there, Dan? I gotta get me that thing there! Hi Voltor, It's a very rare and obscure microphone called an "Essem Fif T8". If, after searching the world over, you can't find one at any price, try here: http...

Etherwave Theremin into BOSS VE-20 Video

Hi Gang, You can skip the first 8 minutes of this video to get to the part where I play an Etherwave Plus through the new BOSS VE-20 Vocal Processor. It does a really great job of creating either a gentle correction of pitch or a rigid lock to a chromatic or Maj or min scale. The Chorus/Flange/Delay...

Re: Who has the new CV mod?

I'm thinking of sending my LP-SII back to Moog for the mod. Do those out there who have done it like it and use it? If so, how are you patching it? Here's a video with 4 Moogerfoogers patched into a Phatty using both the CV Ins and Outs. In particular, check out how it interfaces with the MuRF: htt...

ill go back and read his question but initially I read it as each note of the ARP would play on a different band of the murf. Hi EryK, I think, to be very precise, I'd paraphrase his request as: For each step of the Phatty's Arpeggiator I want the MIDI MuRF to move forward one step in its Pattern. ...

If im not mistaken, if you want the arpeggio output, you use the pitch output right? This will externalize the arpeggio's voltage to an external pitch source like another synth or osc. The ARP latches on to the pitch frequency, not the gate right, so there wouldn't be a gate output with the arp exc...

Re: Solar CV Little Phatty Video Demo

I had a quick question for you (or anybody else that can help). I have a Tribute that was upgraded with CV Outs. And a MidiMurf. When I try to setup an ARP to drive the step function of the Murf, it doesn't work. It steps well enough by hitting keys but when I set it to Latch mode, for some reason ...

Solar CV Little Phatty Video Demo

Hi Gang, Every job has its ups and downs, but this is the kind of thing that makes it so much fun to work at Sweetwater. I got to hook up all of my personal Moogerfooger pedals (MF-101, 102, 105M, 107) along with the MP-201 to the CV Ins and Outs of the Solar CV Edition of the Little Phatty Stage II...

Re: Boss RE-20

Has anyone used a Boss RE-20 with a LP? do they sound good together? and does anyone know if it is actually Analog? The key thing for me is that I can hand-tweak the Delay Time and have the expected effect of changing the pitch, formant, and tempo like an analog pedal. Most analog delay emulations ...
