Concertmate MG-1 transformer?
I just came into possession of an MG-1 which needs a new transformer. The service manual lists the secondary as 38VAC, 5A! I've been searching for several days and haven't found anythings matching this criteria and a few people have suggested that the 5A may actually be 0.5A (i.e. 500mA). I'm hoping...

Re: How long does it take your Slim Phatty to warm up?
Our studies here at the factory show that it can take up to an hour or two for the Slim to reach a stable temperature. I strongly recommend that you wait about this amount of time to run all calibrations. Try to do it in the middle of the day when the temperature surrounding the Slim is at its most...

What inspired your interest in Moog?
I wasn't originally a fan of Moog but rather interested in the Oberheim and EMS gear!
FWIW, I wrote a bigger explanation here but it was wiped out with a stupid key click!
I'll fill in the blanks but I'm curious when you knew you needed to get a Moog synth?

Re: Moog CV/Gate Patching Education/Help
I wouldn't bother with routing the audio out back into the input. This trick works on the Voyager but the LP has the filter Overload parameter built in. One thing to try is to take the Freq box's OSC output and plug it into the LP's Audio IN. Then take the LP's pitch CV out and plug that into the Fr...

Re: Voyager old school:how to tune up OSC1
If OSC1 is tracking (i.e. 1V/Octave) then the tuning procedure to get OSC1 along with 2 & 3 takes about 30 seconds!
Send an email (or call) Moog . If you don't mind cracking open your case it is a relatively painless procedure.

I'm thinking it's because people are as speechless as I am! The guitar itself is incredible but with the addition of the Paul Vo electronics it's just too amazingly beautiful for words!

Are you talking about a Model D or a Voyager?
I believe the Model D uses S-Triggers.

Is it a memoryMoog?
After the Roland Jupiter 80 crap emerged I was explaining to my sister what's so wrong with it and sent her to the tube. Some Duran Duran of course! When you click on the video below there should be a Duran Duran advert. I can't help but notice what looks like a MemoryMoog at the VERY beginning! Is ...

Re: T3's Poping Up At Retailers
So far I've noticed T-3's available from Guitar Center, Musician's Friend, Sweetwater and one other who's name escapes me at the moment. Where did these come from? What's next, Best Buy? This amazes me considering that a limited number of T3's will be manufactured. It was designed to and certainly ...

Re: Can Voyager Old School be used for Slim Phatty Poly chai
As GregAE said there is no way to poly chain the OS with neither the Voyager or the LP. However it is possible to send the OS's CV outs to control MIDI devices including the Voyager and LP. You'll need some external gear such as: http://www.paia.com/midibrn.asp If you google CV to MIDI you'll find m...

Re: Please help with some CP-251 + LP Stage II CV/GATE patch
If I understand correctly you've found a way to use the CP-251 with the LP's inputs? For example you could connect the S&H out into the Pitch and/or Filter inputs to get some funky results or patch the Noise output into the LP's audio input to add surf/wind sounds to the LP's audio signal chain....

Re: Please help with some CP-251 + LP Stage II CV/GATE patch
The CV/Gate outputs can be processed by the CP-251 but this will have no affect on the LP's internal sounds directly. However, you could process the CV/Gate outputs and then send the modified signals back into the CV inputs on the left side of the LP. For example, you could take the MOD buss output ...
