On both synths not all Oscillators have Frequency control. Why is this? from the voyager old school manual (p. 16): "Oscillator 1 performs as a master oscillator to which Oscillator 2 and 3 are tuned." if you really need to, use the FINE TUNE control if you need to change OSC 1's frequenc...

any inexpensive digital multimeter (DMM) that reads DC voltage will tell you what's going on there. radio shack or any other electronics store has them. it's a nice tool to have around

it's possible the keybed needs to be centered...your problem might be one of simple physical interference from the metal trim of the mod wheel assembly. check to see how close the low C key is to the metal trim. is there a slight gap between that lowest key and the metal trim, and is there a similar...

a sub might get you a couple more Hz lower than the 8x10...but i'm not sure enough to really hear (or feel) to justify the expense and extra space the sub occupies. i would try out the rig you have first and see if that alone gives you a stiffy...and if so, i would say your rig is complete without t...
