Turnkey is indeed the UK moog distributor, and I also would not trust sending my moog to them even though I know the technical director there! They farm out their work to CimpleSolutions which I believe have/had some link with the now defunct Music Control (who were very good)... I have not heard an...

Thanks MC for the document... nice nail job! Just to point out, in my experience I don't have the 5 wire keyboard cable... on my early Sig Edition there is only 2 cables under the left hand controller... presumerably this is because they changed the keyboard at a later date (I think I remember heari...

Yay... new aftertouch feild kit in and working great... no need to recalibrate the pitchbend, and contrary to what Amos told me, the pitch difference that i experienced on my early SE seems to be less... it's still there but seems to me to be less of a difference in the pitch end stops for both up a...

So I got back to Ireland Yesterday and opened up my moog field kit box to find the CD has a crack in it, and it won't read. I'm guessing it included a .doc or pdf of the instructions... I'm savvy enough to do the hardware install but if someone could email me the contents of the disk that would be g...

My blue wheel field kit turned up today... thanks to all at moog for sorting this out so quickly for me, as I am currently in RI, returning to Ireland on Sunday (and I had some problems with my Irish credit card - there are no zip codes in Ireland so it always gets declined abroad!). So much easier ...

OK, I have an early Signiture Edition with the pitchbend problem. Does anyone know whether upgrading the Aftertouch will fix this problem? Will I be able to recalibrate after I have installed the field kit and have equal bend range on both the pitch up and pitch down? Could be a useful mod for us e...

I have had a POLARIS and CHROMA together . . . personally I think the Chroma sounds much richer and far more organic with all the different modulation routes. The POLARIS has a hands-on feel which the Chroma can't compete with but the sounds of the POLARIS just don't match up . . it's too crass. I g...

Thanks guys. I have been out of the loop for a bit . . otherwise I would have known all this already! Updated on Friday to 3.2 and all went fine . . had the random display and noise on the compare function but worked out how to sort it . . . took myself off to squarewave, thanks for that Greg! (and ...

Update to OS 3.x.x on non hardware upgraded SE
I just got my SE out of storage after it being a year in a lock-up in London . . I know, shocking but you wouldn't believe what has happened in my life over the last year. Anyway, I want to upgrade the OS to the latest version and just wanted to confirm this before I do it. I have a factory standard...

Excellent news . . I just got mine back from storage after a move from London to Ireland. She was in her flightcase for 12 months . . powered her up, she tuned all 16 voices and sounds great but she wouldn't hold her patches. A couple of new duracels and we are in business . . . my memorymoog on the...

I never really had an issue with Quantise on the Chroma because in general the type of sounds it excels in are pad and comping sounds, which tend not to need manual tweaking as you are playing. For instance, the filter only has 7 steps! so you'll not be wanting to give it a tweak as you solo . . . b...

Hey dr_floyd . . . I was only teasing! In honesty, if all you had access to was the Chroma, I could see how you might want a different sound, I'm lucky to own 3 or 4 moogs and other synths that sit along side my Chroma. I'm not disrespecting your comments as they are valid . . each to their own I sa...
