Last thing I did before going to sleep was to briefly whistle Neon Lights.
I think we (Moog Forum) should cover various Kraftwerk songs and share.

Sub37 Preset Back-up. How-to-do without editor?
Q: Outside of a DAW, what is the best method to save/back-up Sub37 Presets? Situation: After exactly one year, my Sub37 has begun to act wonky with certain buttons and functions becoming non-responsive. Haven't heard back from Moog Tech, but do have an RMA and I suppose it needs to go back to Ashev...

Re: Do I need a Sub37??
Next plan is to use it in Connection with a Fender Princeton… Please don't blow-out your Princeton! A silver-faced Princeton was my first real guitar amp, and I know from experience you do not want to run keys through this small box. Rhodes + Princeton vs. Drummer = Unhappy Princeton :( * *...

Re: Maintenance and Inconveniences in Modern Analog Synthesi
Back in the '90s I sold off all my keyboard gear, collected pennies-on-the-dollar and put the money into a new Martin guitar with a lifetime warranty. It is now worth twice what I paid at full retail, has required almost zero maintenance, and likely will last my entire lifetime, only getting better ...

Re: Moog Noob & Sub 37 MIDI Question
I re-configured recently and ended up with the Sub37 as master controller, and it works very well. Aftertouch is great to have, and my OTB ROMpler workstation supports that. Best of the best, is that I can now program the Slim Phatty directly from the Sub37 front panel. :D In addition, I can use the...

Re: Drive/ distortion pedal for Voyager á la multidrive
You might be correct. But anyway, I find the drive on the minifoogers different from the one on the moogerfoogers and using one of each seems to be more versatile. IMHO, that is... Minifooger Delay has a very nice sounding overdrive, but pushing it past 10:00 will create a bleed of the delay signal...

Re: Slave a Slim Phatty to a Sub 37?
I control the Slim from the Sub37 all the time, and it is fun to program that way. Most everything is a match, but some things are different, of course. Have not tried pairing them for poly, but maybe one day.

Re: Replace a Little Phatty with a Sub 37?
... Sub Phatty –same engine as the Sub37- and I have to say I don’t like the sound as much as the LP’s. I’m used to put it like this: there is something in the LP’s sound, in particular in the overload circuit, that I cannot achieve with the SubPhatty, even using the multidrive. Something I tend to...

Re: Sub 37 Slaved to Analog Rytm?
ok well after more messing around I was able to get the Sub 37 working in sync with the Rytm(tempo/start/stop). I was not able to quite use the output correctly using Sub37 thru port to the Pro 2 to continue the sync only. Nor was I able to sync the sub 37 using the thru port of the Pro 2. The Rytm...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!
*sigh* This is probably the best thing MoogProg's ever written, and that's a little sad because it was over twenty years ago. Huge epic instrumental featuring a Moog Model D for the synth leads. Recorded at Robert Berry's Soundtek Studios in the early '90s for Enchant's first album, which wa...

Re: what are you doing with your Sub 37?
First thing I did with the Sub37 was to dial up a classic Tangerine Dream ambient-type sound and 'arp out' for the evening. Second thing I did was to re-create Voyager sounds from the Worldline albums, and take the Sub37 to band practice where it was awesome and huge sounding. Like Greg above, I hav...

Re: Sub 37 Filter Cutoff: First Batch vs. Revised Batch
the synth has digital control, no audio passes thru the filter pot ^ :? Hmmm, I thought that pot was different than the others because audio passes through the filter pot, and that it is an analog pot not a digital encoder. e.g. we can hear stair-stepping if we slowly move the Filter via MIDI CC, b...

Re: Getting Duophony to sound like Polyphony
Re: Getting Duophony to sound like Polyphony ^Edited the subject to reflect the question which I'll try to answer . Duo mode on the Sub37 is not like the polyphony we would get from something like an OB-X or a Juno106 , those are polyphonic synths where each voice has its own OSC, ENV, and Filter. ...

Re: Solar Phatty Looking for the right Owner
I have a very supportive spouse who also plays music. She appreciates my good taste in quality makers, and even claims the nicest guitar in the house as her own. Still, there are limits that maintaining a household will put upon our GAS, and I'm at mine (having just moved into a house that needs fur...

Re: The tone of sub phatty and sub37
Yep, noticed that too, but as someone who owns a Sub37 and then purchased a Slim Phatty, the differences are clearly audible*, but the feature-set of the Sub37 is overwhelmingly positive.Blackout wrote:wait wait....we were not talking about the Slim Phatty.
