Re: Playing the Slim Phatty with a CV keyboard
^ As he said. When you have a dummy plug in the CV jack of the Slim Phatty, you are sending an extra 5 volts to the buss voltage, that is 5 octaves higher. You can tame the voltage with an expression pedal when playing the Slim from a midi controller. Actually, the LP has a buss voltage, not sure ab...

Re: MF-104Z vs MF-104M
I put my MF-104Z and MF-104M side by side with the same input, and with both delays feeding the same amp. In every case, I preferred the new MF-104M. As proof, I sold my old MF-104Z the next day and have never missed it. I was pondering whether or not trying to find a 104Z to add to my studio (and ...

Re: Minitaur with CV's - close but no cigar
Playing some more Minitaur today. When either working on CVs or din-midi and not messing around plugging midi cable when Minitaur is on, everything is fine and so I am. Plugging anything into the Minitaur patch cable or expression pedal or else while it is on, it gets into all sorts of strange behav...

Re: Minitaur - make attack reset on every key press
I don't use the editor nor USB, but sometimes Din-Midi. The CC number to switch trigger mode is 73. Programmed from my Akai Max 49, it does work as planned. Try to program a button or slider on your controller and see if it works for you. See if the editor sends the proper CC and value. (read manual...

Re: Minitaur with CV's - close but no cigar
That was a nice session (just above). On cv's, the Minitaur has been solid ever since 2.0.4. And a few times as well on din-midi, I think. I did use it with the PK-6 a couple of times and there was nothing wrong to report. But just now, I wanted to put it on multi-trigger mode, so i brought a midi-c...

Re: Minitaur with CV's - close but no cigar
^ Ahh the multi-trigger setting from the panel... I want that so badly... I hope you can implement it just the way I suggested. I have come up with a number of easy to implement features for the Minitaur. I guess should post them if I want them done at some point, and anything old school ;) Meanwhil...

Re: Step sequencer options, EF-303
Just a few years ago, I purchased a Korg Electribe EA-1 mkII for $150. Similar to the EF-303 apparently. Let's not go into details between both of them, but the EA-1 is two part multitimbral (or midi). It sounds horrible but it's worth every penny as a sequencer only. Inspired by your post, I took i...

Re: Expression Pedal to drive the filter cutoff
Yes it is. I like the M-Audio EX.P. It's cheap, very well match to Moog gear with a 50k pot, an external trimmer and a switch for even more trim control. It is smooth to operate and you can control pedal stiffness easily.

Re: Tuning Issues with a Moog Prodigy
It seems to me your Prodigy needs some TLC, a recap and who knows what else? Being an early unit, find a technician who knows Moogs, not the TV repairman on the street corner.

Re: OldSchool key problem?
If I'm not mistaken the Old School is single trigger, not multi-trigger It works either way, special key combination on power up will make it multi trigger. Muskys : try pressing the lowest F and keep it down, then two key simultaneously, then release the keys simultaneously... no sound any more......
