Re: Voyager Calibration??? HELP
I just have the front panel activated, which supposedly means the Voyagers operating just from the actual positions of the knobs/switches. Apparently, this wasn't true in terms of the octave transpose, but hopefully there's nothing wrong with my 1-2 sync function. I have both oscillators tuned the e...

Re: Voyager Calibration??? HELP
Thank you CZ Raider, that's exactly what the issue was. All fixed!
Do you know about the 1-2 sync making my 2nd oscillator one octave higher?

Voyager Calibration??? HELP
Hello all, Just thoroughly testing my newly acquired Voyager...but I noticed a few things that may or may not require a calibration... 1. My oscillators seem to be a two whole octaves below what they should be at any given time. When I have it set to 16 feet, it is lower than usual...and 32 feet alm...

Sequencing
Just curious to see how everyone else sequences their Voyagers. I'm thinking about expanding my modular system with a sequencer module, but need to wait a while before I make that investment. Until then, I'm thinking about using something in the virtual realm. Have any of you had success with any pl...

Voyager Percussion and Sub Phatty Comparison
Hello all, I'm back to a moog-based setup. I picked up a Voyager again (this time upgrading from an Old School to a Performer) and finally have come to terms with the fact that the Voyager is possibly the most intuitive, musician-friendly and quality standalone synthesizer in existence. I'm very hap...

Re: Upgrading from OS to New School
The model I'm looking at is serial number BL19740. Is this an early or late model?

Re: Upgrading from OS to New School
I'm actually planning on keeping both, but yes, the Old School is fantastic for discovery;l'll never sell it unless I can trade for a great condition Model D, which will likely never happen. Could someone please answer my original questions though?

Upgrading from OS to New School
hey everyone, thinking about upgrading my OS to a new school. But I have a few questions about the new schools. 1. Is there a way to turn the backlights off? What if I don't want the mod wheel and the pitch bend wheel to light up? 2. What serial numbers are considered old voyager models that were pr...

Possible Horn Sounds?
Is it possible to get horn sounds from the minitaur? I used to own a Roland Sh09, which did a fair job of creating synthesized horns. I ended up selling it because I didn't feel it was as intuitive to maneuver once I got my first Moog (once you go Moog, you never go back). I just got a minitaur, and...

Interface suggestions
What interfaces do you all use to record your Voyagers? I just sold my low-quality 2 channel interface and am looking for something to capture the voyagers (and my recent minitaurs) analog goodness. I was thinking about the Tascam-2000, but what do you all think/use?

Minitaur Power Switch?
Is there a reason why the Minitaur doesn't have an on/off switch? Is it because it's designed to be a rack unit?

Re: Noise Issue
I'm actually most concerned with the "pop" sound that is made whenever I press a key. It only is apparent when the filter is somewhat closed, when it's all the way open, you can't tell. When it's closed, however, I hear a crackle or a "pop" every time I press a key, even if I pre...

Re: Noise Issue
Are you sure? My model is OS0493. I don't think that'a an early model.
