In theory, you get these tuned well over several octaves. But not in real live with not perfect calibration and temperature changes.

The Source keybed is working by the voltage divider scheme. So no diode matrix, but real CV. As there is no display contrast setting available, this is a hardware problem.
I would check the cables going to the display. They might gone loose or have a bad contact.
If this doesn't help, you will need to get a technician to check and repair it.

Very easy to do. Most Synths or MIDI master keyboards do sent Program Change numbers via MIDI. So you have to navigate the Minitaur by numbers. The Little Phatty won't show the preset numbers. All you do is changing a preset number on the Little Phatty and the Minitaur will play the same number.
