- Topic: Sell my SH101 + SH09 and get a Voyager?

Hi there. I'll try to be as unbiased as I can. I think it's a good idea to sell these two for a voyager for a few logical reasons. First, the two Rolands have only one vco each so right away rich swirling timbres are almost impossible to get unless using some pwm and even then it won't match a 3 sli...

The Voyagers are calibrated to approximately 0.93 V/8va, which is why they wouldn't track correctly with an SH-101 or pretty much any other synth (most use one Volt per octave). Why didn't they just with 1V/Octave? Why such an odd-ball amount as 0.93V? :o Not only that, but the keyboard CV goes bel...

PANEL, EDIT and CURSOR are pretty flush MASTER is about half a mm down, ENTER about 1 mm down -1 is about half a mm up, +1 about 1 mm up. Everything works - no double presses required. I'm not really worried, it seems others have it too? After reading these (very small) measurements values, I went ...

Re: controller 7?
thanks what is controller 7? (i am a little new to this) Under the MIDI protocol, a CC07 message means that a Control Change #07 has been sent and that has the effect of changing the volume level for a MIDI channel(or in this case a particular track). Other CC messages with different numbers will c...

My two cents on it...
As you may know (or not) my Old School is out for repair and I got an Electric Blue to replace it for the time it takes to do so. So I had my OS for about 2 months and now the EB for about 3 weeks. The following reflects only MY personal preference, and is in no way intended to put down any of the t...
