Re: Moog Sub 37 fw update 1.0.6 failed
Tried rebooting, and have nothing plugged into my MBP except 1 usb cable to Sub 37. No other applications running except Sysex Librarian. Ran transfer at 50% speed, as suggested. Still fails at the same point in step 4. Currently, all LEDS are on, screen is blank, and ARP RATE and MIDI LEDs blink t...

Re: Moog Sub 37 fw update 1.0.6 failed
Apple OS runs on Apple hardware. Windows OS runs on all sorts of third party hardware, which is supposed to conform to certain standards, but rarely does so. Customers pay premium prices for Apple bundle and what they can afford for Windows stuff, and get what they paid for. Thanks for mentioning M...

Re: Moog Sub 37 fw update 1.0.6 failed
You have to blame driver developers not the Windows OS for that. Some of the drivers that I had a close look at from well known manufacturers were doing things that made me wonder how they passed QA. Failing to correctly transmit bulky sysex data (which is exactly what firmware update is) is a very...

Re: Moog Sub 37 fw update 1.0.6 failed
I'm on win 7 64bit and updated to 1.0.4 no problems. I was worried from all the talk here but I found c6 to be a dream I had problems with C6 and Win 7 64 bit. C6 crashed Midi on my PC. Fortunately each of the steps could be executed successfully, but I had to reboot my PC one time and that got my ...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
Here's my wish list so far for firmware updates: 5. Firmware updates should be easier. It’s a whole procedure now, installing third party software and loading a series of sysex files. It should be just an app you download and run while having the instrument connected to USB. Swedish brand Clavia/No...

Re: SUB 37 - synching to midi clock
Have you checked your OS of the Sub 37? If the OS version is 1.0.3, you should consider an upgrade to 1.0.4. After the OS upgrade the synchronisation of the Sub 37 to external gear should be better. You can check the OS on the last page of the "Globals" menu ... And don't forget to hit the...

Re: Will there be a Sub 37 editor/plug-in from Moog?
definitely. we're working on the editor now. I don't have a precise ETA, but "as soon as it's ready" there will be a Sub 37 editor in standalone and plugin formats. Thank you very much for the confirmation that an editor is on its way, Amos. It's ok that it might take some time. Better to...

Will there be a Sub 37 editor/plug-in from Moog?
May be that I missed something, but in the early days of this year I found the info on MoogMusic.com that the Sub 37 would be supported by a software editor to integrate the Sub 37 in DAWs etc. But nowdays this info seems to be deleted - at least at MoogMusic.com Since I have found some fragments of...

Here my one cent ... FM modulating the resonant VCF (very simple patch with  wow-factor) here we go: ... but be aware that messing around with self resonance, Feedback and Multidrive can result in high audio peaks. So reduce the output volume first :!: 1) switch all sound generators off 2) se...

Re: Sub 37 updated release date ?
I feel for everyone who is still waiting. My wait was 5 months and that was so frustrating. I had considered canceling several times but I hung in there. In the end, I was not disappointed. I was amazed. This is the synth worth waiting for. I waited since March/April and have it since Monday - and ...

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
V1.0.4 does not require midi start. It will sync automatically. Thanks for the news ... GREAT :D To add a bit more detail ... here is the quote from Amos when I was beta testing the feature. It works exactly as described and was exactly what I had asked for. Moog does listen, they are awesome. My K...

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
this is probably too obvious - but did you press 'play' on the md? maybe when synced to an external clock, the s37 only plays when it receives a midi start signal? This is correct, if you are in SYNC mode on the Sub 37, it won't actually run the arp until it gets a MIDI Start. This is an intentiona...
