Re: Sub Phatty beta firmware - final bug roundup
So where is this editor? I'm not interested in a beta. I'm wondering where the officially released editor is? Or more accurately, when. I believe this question was answered one day/two posts ago: I'm happy to say that all our tests were successful and the update is ready for public release. We will...

Re: Sub Phatty Firmware & Editor
Thank you, Amos. My Sub Phatty came in April. I am so, so glad that I had it to record all summer instead of waiting till this fall when the editor will be ready.
Re: Audiobus
Hey just a thought about chaining devices . . . my answer may be too simplistic. With a JamUp plug or similar interface you could run the input into the iPhone and the headphone/line out of the interface to a second instrument interface on the iPad. If you select microphone input on the iPad's Audi...

Re: Moog Quality Control
I'm curious about this too. My Sub Phatty has two keys that feel and sound arthritic. One of the keys also has a chip like you describe: on the front face of the key, where you can't see it unless you bend down and look under the overhanging pad that your finger actually touches. I'm guessing this l...

Re: Check out my Animoog custom patches
Those are some new sounds there! I like your patch names, and especially your use of polypressure. That Journey clone is really, really close!

Kenneth, I like the combination of soft P6 and hard or crisp everything-else. The result is chewy.

Re: Open Collaborative Animoog Documentation, a project
It wouldn't be as cool, but maybe a sticky topic on this forum could serve the same function, be easier to find, and easier to maintain? My main driver is to document Animoog presets: their characteristics and how to best enjoy them. This seems like an endless and subjective task. Nothing wrong with...

Re: Sub Phatty hidden settings are killing me (filter poles)
I'm not a huge fan of the hidden features tweak-wise, but I'm really happy that they exist. My feelings exactly. People give Moog a hard time about the price premium for their products, but the Sub Phatty and the Minitaur do not stint on features. Moog has packed a lot of sound into these affordabl...

You're right. I was very inspired by the understated playing on this video and may have gone too far: http://youtu.be/P7kBMuxwXPIIgorCristo wrote:The only thing that I think isn't quite there is the volume of the Sub Phatty! It could've been louder!!!!

Re: Buying first analog synth ( Slim or Sub Phatty ?)
I have a Sub Phatty, which I'm really pleased with, but a Slim Phatty at that price would be an excellent instrument too. The Slim Phatty sounds rich, and the interface (with lighted collars on the four knobs) is very well thought-out. Once you learn your way around, it's easy to edit. The only thin...
