Re: My Voyager + Digital Oscillators (GO MODULAR!)
The Kaoss stuff is pretty fun, but much better to use live. The mopho sounds cool, but I really don't use it much. I also have a mono evolver, so I have all the sequences and modulations covered, and with the Taurus 3, I'll have awesome bass covered, so I'm thinking of selling it. It definately is a...

Re: Tiny Feature request
This is really frustrating when programming the Evolver. Being able to initialize a patch without saving and moving one that you created would be a very good feature, just like on the Voyager.

Re: My Voyager + Digital Oscillators (GO MODULAR!)
Same here! I just got a a-100 basic system. I made a patch that uses the vx351 to have the voyager control the modular, using the keyboard, pitch and mod wheels, and the touch screen. Expect a forthcoming video. How do you like the tiptop stackable cables? They seem pretty cool..

Re: Numerology Garageband and Moog
Yeah I think there is a deffinant psychological impact on using dongle-protected software. Since Logic is mac-only, the computer basically acts as the dongle, which is good. However Native Instruments and Arturia both have the worst registration systems ever!

Re: A few tech questions
Do you care if the Taurus is played from, say, the first keyboard octave, and then the voyager from the rest, because that would be easy to do with any midi processing program by creating a keyboard split and assinging each instrument different midi channels.

Re: Oscillators leaking through
Sometimes I notice that if I am making snare drums with only the noise on, when I turn it on the next day the noise will bleed through even if nothing is on in the mixer. Intitializing the patch again takes care of it.

Re: A few tech questions
When you get Logic, you can easily set up an Environment to do this and more. When I get my Taurus I'll post about it.

Re: Mixing board advice wanted...
Why do you need a mixer if you only need to record two sources at once? You just need an interface with at least 2 preamps and a di. Check out Presonus, motu, apogee, rme for various products.

No dongle. That's only for 7 and previous. However getting rid of the dongle has introduced lots of pirating.
