Fantastic! The only thing that could top that is if glen branka redid his 100 guitar orchestra and made it 100 moog guitar orchestra I saw that Branca performance at Disney a few years ago. We were able to sit third row, center - right behind the conductor. It was an amazing experience, as the whol...

I'm pretty excited about this. Hopefully, it'll generate some press for the Moog guitar.

A dozen Moog guitars at Disney Concert Hall

Next weekend there is a show at Walt Disney Concert Hall. On the bill are Kronos Quartet, Terry Riley, and Matmos. Mike Einziger (of Incubus) is also on the bill with a piece he has written for 12 Moog guitars. http://www.laphil.com/tickets/performance-detail.cfm?id=4186 A few of my friends are play...

Re: What is a fair price for a used Little Phatty Stage 2?

Find one in good condition at any price and you'll be happy. (whether you paid +/- $100 is no big deal, just to own one is a special thing as you'll see...) -Mike W. from NJ I'm actually trying to sell mine. I keep dropping the price, but I haven't had much interest yet. I guess I started too high ...

What is a fair price for a used Little Phatty Stage 2?

I'm curious what you folks think a used LP Stage 2 is worth.

Vance,

That's awesome! Thanks for taking the time to do this. A well thought-out demo that shows the capabilities and limitations of that aspect of the guitar.

P.S. I did finally get my hands on a Moog guitar and loved it.

Im actually not having a problem with the LFO's keeping in time, just the starting point of the LFO; i want it to start from the bottom instead of the top basically. It would be nice if you could reverse the max and min values of the LFO. I had forgotten that the parameters were 'amount' and 'offse...

COnsider the Freqbox, and Ill give you a few reasons. First I started my musical journey as a bass player, and the Freqbox with a Bass guitar sounds really nice as a sort of distortion. I'm of the opinion that the FreqBox needs a filter after it. On your Little Phatty or Old School imagine always r...

If it were me, I'd go with the ring mod. I'd recommend that you try one first, as some people plug into a ring mod and have absolutely no use for it. For bass, I use mine for fuzz sounds (carrier frequency set very high), tuned ring mod (tuned to the key I'm playing in makes some notes sound richer ...

DanZorn wrote:What is the difference between 4 pole and 2 pole and what is the difference in sound?
A 4 pole filter filters more than a 2 pole filter. A 4 pole low pass filter will remove highs at 24 dB per octave. A 2 pole low pass filter will remove highs at 12 dB per octave.
