Re: Post your latest purchase!!

Some nice purchases here!! I haven't updated my purchases in a while so now I've got quite a hoard to report! A few months ago I got a pair of these KRK Rokit 6" Studio Monitors, with stands: http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/shop_image/product/37567-krk-rokit-powered-6-g2-pair-large.jpg About a mo...

Re: Parallell Voyagering!

i actually do this also. in series, you can get some pretty nauseating (in a GREAT way) chorus/flange/vibrato sounds. if i could afford it i would actually buy more...i cant wait to get them synced up to ableton via midi Awesome! I can't wait to try out these ideas when I get my second delay next w...

Re: Parallell Voyagering!

Good news! I got my audio interface's stereo signal panning correctly sorted, using Ableton to monitor the inputs (software is required for panning with my model interface).. I just got a second 104m to use with the stereo out of the voyager. I have the left out going to 104A and the right out going...

Re: New MF-104M firmware. Time LED, tap tempo fixes

Sorry I've been away from the computer for a bit, but I managed to get the new firmware installed into the MF-104M! Instead of trying to use my USB-MIDI DIN cable with no luck, I decided to try the MIDI Merge idea (similar to radioland's use of the Sub Phatty above), using one of my other Moog devic...

Re: Click tracking on Vol Input

Also, a lag processor would work well for this application, to slope/slow the attack like an envelope generator, as Vsyevolod mentioned above.

Cheers, I'll give that a try tonight! I think I tried half of that with no luck.

Voyager XL Latest Firmware Version

Can someone please confirm which firmware version is the latest for the Voyager XL? I recently got my XL and according to it's menu system, it has System & Boot Version 3.6, Released on 12/06/2010. I am just a little unclear on whether the XL shares firmware with the regular Voyagers etc. Thanks...

Re: New MF-104M firmware. Time LED, tap tempo fixes

Thanks for the update, however I get a similar, yet different problem with my MF-104M firmware update.. I was able to send the message that erases the existing firmware as per the instructions, but after that, the MF-104M returns to bootloader mode with the 3 LED's solid green again. I then try and ...

Re: New Soundbank for Moog LP/SP [VIDEO]

Just chipping in that I had the pleasure of testing this patch bank on my poly-chain in exchange for a free copy - it's an all-round good selection of synthesizer patches, utilizing interesting modulation routings and other techniques that I might have otherwise not thought of. The 8-Bit sounds - wi...

Re: Voyager programming question

I just got my Voyager XL last night, so I'm not that knowledgeable with it yet - but it sounds like it may be some kind of extra modulation routing in the menu system. I know when I first turned mine on, there was some similar crazy stuff happening - so I followed the manual's suggestion (on page 9)...

Re: Cool Little Phatty Mod

Just out of interest, would something like this pedal (or the guitar version) work well as a limiter for protecting speakers from synthesizer frequency spikes (mainly high frequencies into a bass stack, in my case). I have monitors for the studio, but for live synth stuff, I intend to use my bass st...

Re: Parallell Voyagering!

I do it with daw and without. I run everything through my motu 828mk2 FireWire interface which has 2 Mic/ instrument ins on the front and 8 assignable line ins on the back so I can pair neighboring channels in stereo. so I have channels 1 and 2 paired in stereo and channel 3 and 4 paired in stereo ...

Re: Cool Little Phatty Mod

Awesome! I remember my first question on this forum was "how do you match different preset volumes on the LP?"

This.. This is how you match preset volumes on the LP!! Nice Mod!

I take it you used a bass compressor because you don't intend to play higher notes in your band?

Re: Parallell Voyagering!

I just got a second 104m to use with the stereo out of the voyager. I have the left out going to 104A and the right out going to 104B. the mix out of A ( set dry) goes to the left channel of my interface the delay out goes to the right channel. and for 104B it's flip flopped so it creates a ping po...
