Understanding this Arpeggiator Behavior

I'm still making my way through the Sub 37's manual, though I've already read the Arpeggiator section. There is something with the Arpeggiator I don't understand. Going through the presets, most of the time I see the Arpeggiator's Rate light blinking, at a variety of rates. If the Arpeggiator's &quo...

Re: Dedicated Forum for Sub 37 ?

I can understand this sentiment. While not the same, but certainly with its own advantages, what about an unofficial dedicated forum? The sustainability of something like that would depend entirely on how sizeable and passionate its following is. Teenage Engineering's OP-1 is the only instrument I'm...

As someone who passionately prefers digital controls, this is a big deal for me. So I'm also really looking for the the Editor, whenever it finally arrives.

Re: sub37 @ WOMAD

After seeing the Moog Ensemble in Reading the first time, I "got the bug" and bought my first analog synthesizer (already having quite a substantial lot of mostly Korg digital gear), it had to be a Moog, and so I ordered a Sub37 (it was a coin flip with the Voyager..) within a couple of w...

Re: Sub 37 editor/librarian and VST plugin

Given the mention of VST and a Voyager VST, I'm curious to know: are VST plugin's an extreme rarity amongst hardware, analog synths?

Before I saw this post, I was under the impression that Elektron's Overbridge is the only one doing it and doing it for the first time.

Re: How is Panel Mode used?

Thank you for the comprehensiveness of your response. It's really instructive. If you were working hard on a preset, to the depths of having moved all or nearly all of the knobs, and then stupidly changed presets, you could get at least all of the knob settings back using Panel mode, giving you one ...

How is Panel Mode used?

What is the utility of Panel Mode? If it matters, I'm asking for the Sub 37. I can understand Initialize mode. When I have a better understanding of the basics of sound synthesis, I can use Ini. mode to create patches, whereas for now, I most enjoy and find most suitable creating patches with factor...

Re: Synthesis Tutorials

To learn all about synthesis check out SOS Synth Secrets ... http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/allsynthsecrets.htm Here's another similar series from SOS. I've yet to read it, but it looks exceptionally comprehensive and educational. Will be going through it all myself later on. https://www.soundonso...
