I saw those last week and though 'At last, someone's made em'. They also seem reasonably priced. I've seen dozens of Prodigys with these things missing. The other thing I think these guys need to start knocking up is battery covers for various stuff SH-101, TR-606's etc. I'm sure they'd make a fortu...

FS: Prodigy and Source Service Manuals (Originals)
I was clearing out some drawers last night and came across a mint Source original service manual with all schematics and a 'good' condition Prodigy service manual again opens out with full schematics. I know these are available online but you can't beat the real thing. Would post worldwide, open to ...

Well I'm now getting somewhere, I've just had a call and an email from Sound Control. These are their words, cut from their email: HI PAUL, AS PER OUR PHONE CALL, THE BIG FATTY TRIBUTE IS £899 AND SHOULD LAND TO STORES AROUND THE 3RD WEEK IN MAY. PLEASE CALL ME TO LEAVE A £100 DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR...

Permission to launch into a full scale rant? The way I see it is this: Moog either commit to the UK or they don't. I fully understand if they can't be arsed given the history with Mr. Winter et al, but given that Mike Adams has taken the trouble to 'tour' the Uk with the clinic, it would seem they a...

According to Mike, Sound Control are now also official Moog dealers in the UK. Great I thought, a bit of competition for Turnkey, but initial impressions are far from inspiring with them either. I've sent 3 emails asking for a price on an LP, and rang twice and got nowhere. Early days I suppose! :( ...

Well I'm trying desperately to get hold of a good Source over here in the UK and the last two available to UK buyers went for well over what you're talking about: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Moog-Source_W0QQitemZ7402627871QQcategoryZ46983QQssPageNameZWD2VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayI...

Don't forget that in terms of scarcity, the non-Moog badged Phatty (or any other Moog product) will be by far the more rare product than any Moog-badged one, and will therefore keep its value better in future. I disagree with this. Everybody wants the badges! Don't forget the graffiti through the m...

Straightening the wheels is a two minute job. Mine were both leaning towards each other. Take the two screws out at the front of the wheel assembly, carefully take out the assembly and bend the buggers so they're straight! They've used quite thin MS plate to hold the wheels, it bends if you so much ...
