Re: Slim Phatty + "Sub" or "Little with CV out mod" ?

I would go sub + slim.

I do not believe the noise cable has any attenuation and the LP&SP have no attenuation at the external in. Just need to run it into a pot first.

Re: Sub Phatty Firmware & Editor

Here is the tread with the USB processor firmware for the slim. http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11375&hilit=usb+firmware&start=75#p93748 Contact moog support if you want to check for a newer edition. Best results have been from windows machines, but worth a try from your m...

Re: Sub Phatty Firmware & Editor

Word! I cant but to think that this is a yet another example of rushed product release. Let the consumers pay big money for cripled synth. Beta testing should be dealt with before releasing new products to the market! Why we have a Little Phatty Stage II.... Why there are so many first versions of ...

Re: Any Octatrack users?

^ There are limitations, but yes. I don't use a computer. I didn't before the OT though either; so, the OT was a big step up. Enjoy the OT. If you are in the U.S. Prices are expected to rise 9/16 on Elektron gear. http://www.elektron-users.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=28&func=vi...

Re: Any Octatrack users?

Don't fear the OT. I did use the MD non-UW for about a year before getting an OT; so, I knew the elektron way of doing things a bit. It is not that bad. I have never used any sort of sampler before, computer or hardware. It is a very functional device when used in a limited capacity. You can add fun...

Incredible machine. You won't be disappointed if you can push through the learning stage. Still spanking me at times, but its all about putting in the hours.

Re: Your must have Foogers

The delay is great, but requires you to jump into the deep end of the pool. Lot of other good delays out there for a lot less. I would consider a delay a must have, but not necessarily the MF-104. MF-105M Midi Murf loved mine while I had it. Very versatile! Unique. It does have a distinctive color; ...

Re: LFO Rate Key Tracking

Give me a 64' or 128' stop on osc 2 and we'd be there. And a way to turn off modulation of osc 2 when pitch is selected.

I've always wanted that feature for the stage! Local keyboard control off, but sent via midi, while the knobs control the phatty, CCs preferably not sent (or toggle-able). It would be a huge power up in my LP+OT setup.

Re: Moogerfoogrs with Buchla 200e question.

I remember a thread where one of the moog employees stated there should be no problem between +/-12V, though the official spec is still +/-5V. One CV issue with the phatty line, not sure if it applies to the voyager or foogers, is that trigger pulses that are very short are not always recognized.

Re: in perfect saw tooth wave? oscilloscope

The names of waveforms have always been descriptors and not meant to imply an exact geometric description. Though the opposite is true. A perfect digital 50/50 cycle is called a square wave.

One exception is the sine wave.
