My Fooger/SP case
Hello all. I'm working on a portable rack for my Foogers, Slim Phatty, and 2 patch bays. Thought you might like to see the progress. I should have it back this weekend from getting the carpet glued on and can get the gear installed. Of course I have about 80 more plugs to solder for the cables. Enjo...

Re: Whats the best midi-to-CV for moogerfoogers
I Just started using Expert Sleepers Silentway. It works really well with my Moogerfoogers. All of those CV parameters in perfect sync with my projects. You must have specific hardware though. Most Motu audio interfaces work. Wow that $49 price point is looking good compared to MOTU's Volta at $199...

Re: The little thumb tap tempo/step project for the MF-105
Wow that's awesome! Today I was just debating how I was going to incorporate the tap/step jack into my patch bay for my Fooger rack (which is in the planning stages). This seems way better than any idea I've come up with so far. Nice job!

Moogerfoogers with an SKB pedalboard
Hey everybody. I'm just curious if anyone has used their foogers with the SKB PS-45 Pedalboard case or something similar. I'm trying to figure out how to mount my foogers and ran across this. I'm leaning towards using a rack of some sort, so this is not exactly what I was wanting, but I'm still wond...

Re: Moog Murf VST and Ableton
Here's the Murf manual link: http://moogmusic.com/sites/default/files/midimurf_man092909.pdf Starting on page 21 it explains the different trigger modes with note messages. I think there's actually 3 different note messages per filter you can send. Here's the manual addendum: http://moogmusic.com/si...

Re: Moog Murf VST and Ableton
The best resource I can think of is the pdf manual that is with the Murf VST download (or it might be a separate download). After you get it all set up on the tracks, you can make envelopes for controlling the VST controls, which in-turn controls the actual Murf.

Re: Touch OSC?
I have seen that. Pretty cool. That's about the only way I know of that can transmit wirelessly without a computer. Also it works with the iPhone and iPod Touch, which obviously don't use the camera connection kit. I have successfully used core MIDI wirelessly on my PC and Mac. I'm planning on using...

Re: Touch OSC?
That is true that you can transmit midi directly from TouchOSC on an iPad through the camera connection kit. However you will have to use a computer to build and sync your TouchOSC layouts. The layouts I've made aren't terribly complicated but I agree that i don't think you could make a step sequenc...

Re: EP-2 compatibility
Well to answer my own question now that I have the EP-2. It of course works great with all my Moog stuff. It works well (for most functions) as an expression pedal on my Roland JD-800. It just kind of works on a Yamaha MO8 though; it just sweeps with a small portion of the pedal, so not very useful....

Re: Phatty stage 2 arpegiator on presets
Well I had the exact same problem with my Stage 2; just out of nowhere it seemed. I got the CV outs installed at the factory and when it came back they updated the OS and it is fine now. So I don't really have a solution other than apparently installing the OS fixes it. Adam http://www.thesolutionmu...

EP-2 compatibility
Does anyone know if the EP-2 can be used as an expression pedal with keyboards such as the Yamaha Motif or various Roland models? I definately want it for my Moog stuff, but just curious if I can use it on my other boards. Thanks!

Re: FYI: MOOG acknowledges "MIDI IN-Power On" Bug.
Well this explains the random strange behavior I have had too. I'm with you in that my computer is almost always on when I turn the LP on and off. The MIDI not working has happened to me several times too. Thanks for the info! I'm sure it'll get fixed.

Re: odd problem...any suggestions?
I'm pretty sure the MIDI input from the LP is off on all channels, but I should make sure. I'm rehearsing again tonight so I'm going to watch it close. Turning the Local Off really wouldn't work for my situation since I'm playing the LP live and Ableton is just switching presets and processing the a...

odd problem...any suggestions?
Hello, during rehearsal yesterday I had a problem with my LP Stage II I'm using it with Ableton Live 8 - MIDI through USB and the audio out is connected to my MOTU 828 interface. I'm using it as an external instrument in Live and using some of Live's effects such as the compressor and reverb for liv...
