Re: Just ordered a Moog MF104m :) Patch-spiration

You need more CV control, IMHO. I am only working with 3 foogers including the cp-251, and with the mp-201 pedal (so amazing), there is just endless possibilities. But for now, an attenuated sample and hold source into the delay time is an awesome random pitch fluctuations/tape delay effect.

Re: CP-251 schematics...?

But doesn't the 'Attenuator' on the newer CP-251 offer 'reversible' properties, aka amplify if clockwise. I think that's what he's after (at least that's the way the thread was going on the response over at Muff's). The original w/the red jacks and just what you said, same with VX-351 but the newer...

Re: Stereo MF-101

Check out the user manual for a MuRF. It has stereo outputs, different frequencies go to left or right. It doesn't sound like you need the MIDI model and deals are out there on used units. That is dual mono. He wants a stereo filter which means both outputs the exact same, but different L/R inputs....

Re: Stereo MF-101

Is it possible to use two MF-101s in parallel, with some kind of synchronisation of knobs via CV? Eg, if I move the filter cutoff of the primary MF-101, it changes the other. Does this work ok in practice or do the left/right channels phase? You can do it by tuning the cutoff when self oscillating....

Re: Trade MF-101 towards Midi Murf

You are making a mistake. I don't have a guitar, but do use the 101 with a hohner clavinet, and it is unreal how amazing it sounds, especially with a delay.

Re: Trade MF-101 towards Midi Murf

Shouldn't you try it out a little more before you discard it? The murf is a cool effect, but the filter is one of the greatest musical creations in history.

Re: cross sync?

I googled "cross sync synth oscillators" and couldn't find anything. I am talking about plugging the output of both oscillators into each others sync inputs, in case you misunderstood.

cross sync?

has anyone with a modular tried to "cross sync" oscillators so that they are hard synced to each other? Or tried daisy chaining syncing multiple oscillators? I am curious to what this would do/sound like.

Yeah, I use a particular anti-dandruff shampoo, so mine smell like spring lilacs. Not one flake of dandruff either.

The 907 looks like a simple fixed 4 band eq with no frequency control. Looks like the peaking baxandall type.

Yeah, the cool thing about those is that you can adjust the width separate from the height.

Re: Cluster Flux question

I don't have a CF, but I have a 104 delay, and yes, you can get reverby sounds with high speed delays and long feedback. I use it all time because I don't like digital reverb. I'll throw it on an aux bus for drum kit, or feed it to a speaker with room mics to create a chamber type effect. Anyway you...
