Re: Amos: LP/SP Firmware Suggestions

Uh, it would be totally awesome to map a CV input to any parameter!!! Just like on Minitaur. I really want to save LFO for filter mod, but I love PW mod and PW mod is something that needs just triangle LFO in mostly constant rate... I just want to say that would be great to control PW (uh sorry, Wa...

Re: Slim Phatty as vocoder carrier signal!

Glad you enjoyed it! I programmed and saved a preset for it, but I will have to check the Logic project, where I note which preset I used for each track. I'll get back to you about specifics. I can tell you, however, that I used both oscillators plus the SP's noise source, and I moved the mod wheel ...

Re: Slim Phatty as vocoder carrier signal!

Here you go. The Slim Phatty/TAL vocoder is the first one that comes in around 2:10. It continues throughout the part.

Slim Phatty as vocoder carrier signal!

I thought some of you might be interested in this... I've been messing around with software vocoders lately and I found the TAL Vocoder (http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-vocoder) which allows the use of an external carrier signal. I used the Slim Phatty as a carrier signal, and it sounds awesome....

Re: Amos: LP/SP Firmware Suggestions

My main suggestion: a software option to change the Slim Phatty's CV inputs into CV outputs. Is this doable? If so, I would love you forever.

Re: Slim Phatty CV Out

Yes, that would be perfect (a similar update to the Minitaur CV update). If I could map the CV inputs of the Slim to be CV outputs, it would be amazing!

It would also add value to the Slim Phatty, much as it did with the Minitaur. Moog, can you make this happen? :)

Agreed - I would kill for a CV out on my Slim. Any news?

Re: Animoog : WISHLIST

As I am color blind, please, please don't use black text on red buttons. Completely unreadable for me (and probably hard to read for many other users). So: white text on red buttons please! You can invert the iPad's color scheme by clicking the home button three times, or going to Settings -> Gener...

Re: Moog Prodigy Filter not working

Many thanks to everyone for your input and advice. I will definitely replace the plug with a three-prong before I continue. I found a 4558 dual op-amp for the Prodigy at Syntaur, so I will order it. Should I check the PCB traces with a multimeter before I replace the op-amp? As you can probably tell...

Re: Moog Prodigy Filter not working

A response from Kevin Lightner himself! Thanks for the info, Mr. Lightner. I am clearly no electronics expert, but I am going to do my best to get this beast back up and running eventually. One other problem is that the ground is broken off the power cable - I should probably replace the plug with a...

Moog Prodigy Filter not working

Hello all, I received a Prodigy as part of a trade - the original Prodigy without the CV/Gate jacks. The fuse was blown, and I replaced it. I've been able to get it to the point where everything works, except the filter. The only effect the filter controls have on the sound is a volume increase/decr...

Analog Birds reunite with Slim Phatty in tow

Here's the first new music from Analog Birds in six years. They've been serial users of Moog Opus III and Prodigy in the past on albums like Don't Let it Slow You Down. - and the new song/video features Slim Phatty all over, in addition to Kawai SX-240 and Sequential Circuits Drumtraks. http://www.y...

Animoog midi-out expansion pack controlling Slim Phatty

Hi everybody, Love Animoog, and I'm planning on grabbing the expansion pack. Just wondering how well it works with the Slim Phatty? Obviously the poly-aftertouch is out, but is it worth it to control the Phatty with Animoog? Does the legato work well? Otherwise, this synth is a revolution. I'd love ...

Milbankx single that uses Animoog ("Angry Sun")

Hey guys, here is the current Asa Milbankx single. It has Animoog all throughout, three or four different patches total. The other main synthesizer is a Kawai SX-240.
