Re: Voyager release problem
Thanks for your help Rudi. :) After further testing I have found that while my P3 only sends "All Notes Off" when I hit stop, the MPC60 also sends a "sustain pedal off" message (cc64,value 0). I can't seem to find a way to get the MPC60 to not send cc64 when I hit stop. Is it po...

Re: Voyager Filter Confusion
The filters on my Voyager aren't calibrated properly. I have to set Filter spacing to -1 to have them in tune/ both mono. Sounds like the Voyager you've tried in the store has a similar issue. I'm a bit confused as to why you'd want to put the filter into lp/hp mode and then try and get a pure LP fr...

Re: voyager feature request(s)
You can already control filter pole selection via MIDI.That's what the Editor software uses. I dont use/have the editor but I suspect it's a SYSEX command you need.grapejuice wrote:please can the filter pole number selection be optionally mapped to a pot, midi or at least un-buried in the menu?

Re: Amp Release Modulation
Sweet. Thanks c7sus.
When I tried it I was using the pedal mod bus and could only get it to change between release full on and full off, and the change would only happen while a note was held.

Re: Amp Release Modulation
I dont think this is possible.
What are you trying to achieve ? Do you want random release times or do you want to hear the release section of the envelope grow/shrink as the sound decays ?

Re: Midi problems with Voyager RME
If you get MIDItest from http://miditest.earthvegaconnection.com/ you can use it to see how good (or bad) your MIDI interface performs. If your getting jitter figures under 3ms you should be ok.Good interfaces seem to have around 1ms jitter with the occasional event around 3ms. Sometimes having netw...

That's not going to happen either. It would need a whole new cpu, It was discussed here on the forum a while ago.alextoevs wrote:
perhaps moog could offer a hardware upgrade to include this and other new features..

Not enough CPU power. -2 more menu based modulation busses (not sure this is physically possible, are the mod busses all software or are they hardware?) . Not going to happen. Modulation bus...

Re: Midi problems with Voyager RME
Sounds like you might have a MIDI loop.
Try the following:
Connect the Edirol keyboard to the computer via USB.
Connect the MIDI out of the keyboard to the MIDI in on the Voyager.
Do not connect MIDI out/thru on the Voyager to anything.
Then, let us know if you still have the same problems or not.

Re: could someone please make a tutorial on glide modes?
You might find it easier to grasp what the glide modes are doing by playing the Moog from a keyboard rather than programming from a piano roll. I find that each mode leads to a different playing style.
Tills desciptons in the previous post are so clear and simple you shouldn't need a tutorial.

Re: Do i have analog control over synth parameters?
On a regular Voyager you have digital control over an analogue sound source.
On a Voyager Old School you have analogue controls and analogue sound source.
What do you mean by "impulse train" ?
