I'd rather have a CV in for the LFO rate and amount, just personally, it'd free up my hands a bit more as opposed to when I do those wild LFO solos. If I owned a few more Foogers I'd definitely consider getting this upgrade though.

Awesome, it seems to be working for me!
When I initially tried to install it in, it had a "DATA ERROR 3"!!!
And I panicked a bit, but then coolly collected myself and reinstalled it, and it all work... PHEW! Just don't scare me again like that LP...

AIR is a good modern band who make use of vintage synths, including the minimoog.
Listen to the Moon Safari album of their's, it chockers.

Maybe you could design some sort of frame to sit around and support the rear of the phatty, and attatch straps to that, so then you wouldn't even need to mess with the synth itself.

There's only one Moog retailer here in Australia, so the brand is a pretty rare thing here. Luckily it's not too for from where I live, (45 minute drive), so I've had an inspection and play of the Voyager a few times, not any more now I have my LP though!

Just out of interest, is anyone else still waiting for their CP-251?
Talk about it seems to have died down a bit, so are you all off busy playing?

I'm still waiting for mine is all.

Alright, I got a reply! So hopefully this will at least get you the basic sound. All of the oscillators are square waves (16') Cutoff is at 10:00 (on a minimoog, not sure what this equates too, but you can probably figure it out by ear) No resonance Contour is at 1:00 (again, on a D) Envelopes have ...

Alright, I've sent him a message, so fingers crossed for a reply! Engineers is great, I don't own the Living Ornaments albums, so I can't actually compare, but I really enjoy it! The cover, with Numan behind 2 model Ds is one of my favourite pictures of the good man. Being an "electro-god"...

Definitely buy it if you've got the cash.
I mean, think about it... It's a model D! Even if you left it for a year, and then fixed it up when you saved more money, it'd be well worth it!

Here is a link to the aforementioned video.
maybe if we look real close at the D, we can see where his knobs are!
