East Coast Tech
Hey all,
I have a friend in NYC who's in need of a superb synth tech to handle substantial repairs of his minimoog and Odyssey.
Any recommendations in the tri-state area??

Re: Moog SL-8
"It was an eight voice DCO-based synth with one DCO, moog filter and VCA per voice. The DCO had hard sync and PWM which gave it some animation and timbre variation."
How do you get 'sync' with a single DCO? Maybe it was a dual DCO design??

Re: Voyager as CV controller?
You'll also need a handful of male 1/4" to male 'mini-plug' cables for patching between the two.

Think I'll go for the 1967 Rolex also for sale. $53.00! More within my budget!

I remember my first polysynth: The Korg Poly 800. All plastic casing, digital parameter access, 256 step sequencer, on board chorus, all for a list price of 799.00!

Check out Mos-Lab's new 915 multimode filter. (www.mos-lab.com)
Not suggesting you buy one for your JV but seems to be somewhat similar to the Polymoog's formant filter.

First off: Welcome to New York City! Personally, I've been dealing with the fine folks at Rogue for about 20+ years now. I bought my Voyager, Murf, CP-251's (3 of them) and VX-351 from them (among many other items over the years). Personal relationships are important to me and I enjoy walking into a...
